Sinking Ships by Trees of Eternity

"I think you should wear the red one" Hvitserk held the dress, still persisted in inviting her even though he had taken some "no'" of her.
"I do not think so" Eileen got out of bed and pulled the dress from his hand.
"Maybe this one?" Hvitserk pulled another from her dress chest "Blue also falls good on you"
"I said no, Hviti" Eileen pulled the piece from his hand, slapping it lightly on his head "I'm not going down to the party today"
"Oh, come on" Hvitserk returned the slap and took a punch back from her "You can not hide on the beach or up here for the rest of the days"
"I'm not going, it's settled" Eileen pushed Hvitserk away from the trunk of clothes, going to look at the beach deep below "I do not want to look at Ubbe's perfect face any time soon"
"He really hurt you, hm" Hvitserk sat at the window support watching the waves break the rocks on the hill "Come with me, I do not want to be in that place alone"
"You have your brothers, sweetheart. You do not need me" Eileen sneered.
"I will have to endure Ivar and Sigurd fighting all night, I hope the gods give me patience for this" Eileen laughed and Hvitserk pulled her by the arm, leaning his forehead against her "Do you miss her?"
"I do not know" Eileen sobbed the reply by looking into Ragnarsson's blue eyes, laying her head on his arm "Damn, I'm so confused I can not think straight and and I know I'm not being fair to him but I can not even look at Ubbe without remembering what he did"
"Ubbe has been asleep since we arrived but he calls your name, sometimes screaming, sometimes sobbing, but he always calls you" Hvitserk toyed with her braids.
"He did not have to do that, Hviti" Eileen turned her gaze to the sea "Break her leg, there was no need, he did because he wanted to and he liked it"
"So you met the Dark Ubbe" Hvitserk smiled with some sadness, he knew that dealing with the dark version of the older brother was painful "You somehow provoked him, do not you?"
"Oh, now it's my fault" Eileen sighed "I said I did not want to go back to Kattegat if he did not take her with us"
"And you left his back in pure flesh" Hvitserk rose from the window and went back to stirring in her things "You should go with me to Yule as my guest, we will not be near them if it is your will. I will take care of you"
"Now I need care?" Eileen went to him tapping the hands of the young wolf. "Curiosity killed the cat, Hvitserk"
"You always needed, or did you forget the times when I had to save your nice ass in the village?" Hvitserk chuckled and put the fur on his shoulders, preparing to leave "Think fondly of the invitation, Eily, I would really love your company there and we can stay on the docks drinking wine, just keep me company"
