It feels weird walking home alone. Cloud had to stay back with some others for a group project, he never used to do those. Felix is standing outside my house reading a book before noticing me. I simple walk past him and he doesn't say a word, he just follows. The entire house is quiet and so is the rest of the day until night.

"Felix?" He lifts his head slightly to show he heard me. "I'm sorry."

"Don't be. It was my fault for making him angry." He can tell something is wrong. "What else is bothering you?"

"I don't want to talk about it." I turn to face the wall as I snuggle into my bed. "Just look into my memories, I know you're already going to do that."

"Okay." Silence rolls over as I start to drift into slumber, but I can still hear his faint words. "Good Night."

It's morning before I can even get my thoughts straight. I had the same dream, but the red was larger this time, more spread out, It has to mean something. But what? again Felix is not in the room, but he left his blanket over me. I must have been cold and shivering if he did this, or maybe just a random act of kindness for what happened yesterday. Walking out of my room with the blanket wrapped around me I smell food, something being cooked. My mom left for work early, is Felix cooking? Let's see the damage. I walk into the dining room to see a plate, with an amazing omelet. It looks delicious, but how? I look to see Felix doing the dishes and don't question it.

"Hurry up, I don't want you to be late." He heads for my room but stops and turns to me. "What are you planning to where today?"

"Why are you doing this?" His expression changes slightly but no much before he just smiles to me.

"I don't want you to over work yourself, even after what happened." He's waiting for my response.

"A grey tee shirt and blue jeans." He smiles and walks to my room as I enjoy breakfast.

Later we're walking out the door to meet with Cloud and walk to school. It's again silent. Getting to school is fine, learning what's about to happens is another story. I can clearly see the angel of the problem and the devil of the problem. Tamara being the devil and Emily being the angel, both talking to Roy.

"Hey guys, what's going on?" Tamara is too busy arguing with Emily and Roy to answer me.

"Jordan challenged Roy to a dual at the back of the school during free time." Peggy is strangely calm about this.

"Just shoot him! It's not like they're real guns! Just shoot his butt to the moon and leave him to die!" Tamara is definitely the devil of the situation.

"No, don't make this any worse than it is. Just back down now before someone gets hurt." Emily's pleading has more effect on Roy, I can see it.

"Why not just do the dual and aim at the sky to show peace." Everyone stops and looks at me, was it something I said?

Roy nods and the bell rings. I feel like I'm the only smart one when it comes to fast acting situations. We head to class and I notice Peggy doesn't even try to start a conversation with Felix, I guess she gave up. But then Felix leaves the class, why? I don't see him again until near the end of lunch. Not much has happened today that's unusual.

"Where have you been?" Felix smiles, it somewhat gives me a bad feeling but I wave it off.

"Don't you have a duel to get to? Roy wanted you to be by her side much like Blaze will be with Jordan." She did say that, I don't like being a witness to things like this. But then I notice Cloud staring at us, or more at me.

"You should head home and wait for me there, this won't take long." Felix looks at me confused but then shrugs and leaves, and Cloud comes over to me. "What's wrong?"

"Can't you see? Felix is not what you think. There's something about him that...that just doesn't add up correctly." Cloud looks mad, or concerned. "You have to get rid of him."

"No. I don't see anything wrong with him." Cloud looks shocked now, why? "Are you...jealous? I can try and get you one if you'd like."

"...You're an idiot." What? He's never called me names before, what's going on? "Tamara was right, you wouldn't believe us."

And that's it, he leaves and that's it. Why? I don't have time to cry, Roy needs me at least. And so I go, wiping tears from my eyes. What did Cloud mean? What does he want me to see?

"Hurry up Alex, I don't want to waste this opportunity." Roy smiles as she stands next to the back door of the school.

We head outside where Jordan and Blaze wait. Jordan has his gun ready as Blaze throws us the other one. We both check to make sure it works properly.

"Let's get this over with loser." Jordan gets into position with Roy and turns backs.

"Okay, upon count ten you fire. If fire before, you are disqualified. Ready? One. Two. Three. Four." Each number is another step away from each other. "Five. Six. Seven. Eight. Nine."

Roy raises her gun to the air and waits. She took my advice this time.

"Ten!" Bam. Everyone freezes as Jordan's gun goes off.

His gun was real. Blaze covers her mouth as he drops the gun. They didn't plan this. Roy drops to the ground almost dead. I run over and get down to help her. Blaze and Jordan run off in fear, they don't want to be blamed. I can't believe this. I can't help, I don't know how.

"Man, I hate those two...." Roy laughs slightly. "Hey....Don't give up."

And just like that....she's gone.
