"Alyssa!" Chris yelled upon seeing her before running to pull her into a tight hug. "I missed you so much!"
Alyssa smiled hugging him back, feeling the butterflies in her stomach fly about uncontrollable.
"I missed you too," Alyssa smiled, pulling away from the hug to look into his dark eyes.
"Is it just me or did you get prettier?" He asked, making her blush.
"Stop it, Chris," she hit him playfully.
He smiled before briefly hugging her again.
"So how was Bath?" He asked.
"It was nice...that reminds me, I brought you a souvenir."
"A souvenir?"
She nodded.
"Follow me, it's in my room."
Chris nodded before following her to her room where she told him to close his eyes.
"Why?" He questioned as he hesitantly followed her instruction.
"I want it to be a surprise," she revealed as she searched her suitcase.
She smiled upon seeing the small white teddy with big-ish eyes and a big mouth.
Alyssa placed the teddy in his hands before telling him to open his eyes again.
Chris stared down at the teddy before giving Alyssa a confused look.
"It reminded me of you...so I bought it," she uttered as she looked at the floor shyly, suddenly realising he probably wouldn't like it.
Chris gazed down at the teddy once more, chuckling.
"Awww! Are you trying to say I'm cute?" He questioned smugly.
Alyssa scoffed.
"No, idiot, I'm trying to say you're small."
It was Chris's turn to scoff.
"But you're smaller."
The British girl shrugged.
"Doesn't deny the fact you're small...And besides that's why I got this."
Alyssa pulled another teddy out of the suitcase but this one was brown, had bigger eyes and was noticeably smaller than the one Chris held.
"Is that supposed to be you?" Chris asked to which Alyssa nodded.
"It took me a while to find this one."
"It's really accurate. I like it."
"What do you mean accurate?"
"It's small, cute and takes all my self control to not kiss it."
Alyssa's eyes widened as she felt her cheeks heat up.
"Stop it, Chris," she uttered quietly, too embarrassed to look in his eyes.
"What? Should I not tell the truth? Should I lie and say you don't drive me absolutely insane?"
"Chris," she squealed, unable to hide her happiness.
Chris chuckled as he leaned against the wall behind him.
"That reminds me, I planned something for you while you were away."
Alyssa cocked an eyebrow, looking at him in confusion.
"What is it?"
"I want it to be a surprise," he quoted her playfully.
Alyssa huffed.
"Fine, I get it. It can I at least get a hint?"
Chris thought for a second.
"Nope. Just be ready by eight tonight...And don't eat before then."
"Are you taking me out to eat?"
"Something like that," he responded as he took a step closer to her, interlocking his fingers with hers. "I've actually been planning it for months. I just didn't know how to do it."
"Just ask me to eat, that's all. Simple really."
Chris shook his head.
"It's not that easy to ask a girl out on a date."
Alyssa's eyes widened.
"A-a date?"
"Yeah...What do you think? Will you go out with me?"
"I don't know, Chris. It'll be my first date...ever."
"Mine too."
Alyssa furrowed her eyebrows.
"You haven't been on a date before?"
He shook his head.
"You're actually the only girl I've ever had feelings for. Pixie...well, let's just say I never loved her."
Alyssa smiled at the confession.
"Yes," she suddenly uttered, confusing Chris.
"Yes to what?"
"Yes, I'll go out with you," she beamed at him. "So eight is it?"
He nodded, smiling widely.
"Eight it is."

"You look gorgeous," Chris smiled upon seeing her at eight.
Alyssa's eyebrows furrowed as she looked down at her outfit: a red hoodie, black skinny jeans and a pair of converse.
"I'm not even wearing anything special," she commented.
"I know. Just goes to show you're effortlessly beautiful."
Alyssa scoffed and rolled her eyes at Chris's cheesy words.
"I swear, sometimes I wonder why I love you so much."
"It's fate, Alyssa."
"Why did fate lead me to you of all people?"
"Don't question fate. Accept it, you love how cheesy I am."
She rolled her eyes.
"Ok, maybe I like it a little bit," she confessed earning a wide grin from the boy.
"I knew it...anyway, we should go now. I don't think they would appreciate us being late."
"They?"
"Jungkook, Bam, Felix and Jaebum. They are the ones setting everything up and all."
"Jaebum? How on earth did you get Jaebum to do that."
He shrugged.
"That much is still unknown to me but I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts."
Alyssa smiled as she walked alongside Chris to the place their date was going to be, interlocking their fingers.
"I think I might actually really enjoy tonight."
Chris furrowed his eyebrows.
"Why?"
"Because I'll be with you and we don't have to worry about keeping our relationship a secret."
Chris smiled.
"We don't have to, you know. If you want we can stop keeping our relationship a secret."
Alyssa sighed in contentment.
"I'd like that."
