I DO NOT OWN THE PICTURES ^^^^ABOVE^^^^
She glanced down at the maroon mark tattooed to her wrist as she winced at the excruciating pain. Tears filled her eyes but she bit her lip as hard as she possibly could so they wouldn't spill out.
"What is it?" she finally found the courage to ask but the man with charcoal hair simply ignored her as he pulled a syringe with a pointed end out of its transparent packet. She watched as he pushed it into her skin, drawing her blood. On a normal occasion, she would have screamed and cried at the pain but all she could feel at the current moment was her throbbing wrist.
"What is the mark in my wrist?" She questioned again, finally catching his attention. He heaved a loud sigh as he gave her a look of annoyance which made her cower slightly.
"A bull. What does it look like to you?" He asked rhetorically as he pulled the needle out of her skin once he collected enough blood.
"Why is it there?" She added. He glared at her before rolling his eyes.
"Can you stop asking me questions? If you want answers go pester someone else. I don't have time for this."
Alyssa groaned inwardly as she narrowed her eyes at his back. Who else could she possibly ask? She knew nothing about this place or its objectives. It was the rules after all. No one was allowed to speak of it, especially not to anyone who hadn't been there before. She had to find everything out while she was there and he couldn't even be bothered to help her.
Eventually, Alyssa managed to tame her anger and frustration, releasing a long, soft sigh as she began to gaze around the room.
Four ebony walls enclosed both her and the man and strings ran diagonally across the fairly large room. Polaroid pictures of teenagers between sixteen and nineteen were attached to the strings. A piece of card containing the person's profile was stuck to the pictures.
Alyssa glimpsed at the photos briefly until her eyes landed on a particular boy. He had dark eyes, big, plump lips and although the picture was printed in black and white ink, she could tell his hair was of a light hue.
Subconsciously, her gaze drifted to his profile.
Name: Kunpimook Bhuwakul
Age: 19
Nationality: Thai
Zodiac: Taurus
Blood Type: B"Hey!" The sudden shout, made Alyssa flinch before she glanced at the dark haired boy, who stared at her, fury evident on his face.
"What?" She shrugged as she gave him a confused look but his features didn't soften, in fact, they seemed to tense up even more, if that was possible.
"Looking at someone else's profile is forbidden, Miss Kent," he said through gritted teeth as he clutched his fists.
"O-oh, sorry. I didn't know," she apologised, looking down at her dirty converse sneakers. "But if that's the case, can I look at mine?"
"No!" He practically yelled, releasing a sharp exhale. "That's off limits! Didn't you read the rules on the way here? It was a fifteen hour flight!"
"I was reading the rule book but got bored. I mean, how do you expect me to memorise two-hundred-and-nine pages of rules? And besides, next time you want want someone to read a rule book, don't make them fly first class on a plane with Wi-Fi."
Immediately, the man pinched his nose bridge as he shook his head.
"Useless," he huffed. "Absolutely useless."
"Don't act like I'm the first!"
"You are, Miss Kent. Everyone else here has read the rules. You were just too stupid to!"
"Stupid? I beg your pardon, I am not stupid! I got full marks in my I.T. exam!"
"Great, you can use that knowledge on the non-existent electronics in this building."
Alyssa huffed, glancing back at her left wrist as the pain began to die down.
"You may leave if you want," the man spoke up before heading to a table behind him to examine her blood further.
Alyssa happily jumped out of her chair and practically skipped to the door.
"Oh wait," she called as she placed her hand on the doorknob. "I never got your name."
The man glanced back at her briefly.
"Jaebum," he spoke. "I'm Im Jaebum."

As soon as she exited the room, she bumped into someone, immediately falling to the ground.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry," he apologised as he helped her up instantly.
Alyssa took a second to regain her balance but once she did, she gazed at the boy who she had bumped into.
"Are you okay?" He asked, waving his hand in front of her face. "You look a bit, how do I put this...unwell."
"No, I'm fine," she replied quickly as she looked at him closely. Something about him was familiar but she just couldn't put her finger on it. Was it his grey hair, his brown eyes, plump lips or all of the above together?
"I'm Kunpimook, by the way, but everyone just calls BamBam or simply Bam," he introduced himself with a smile as he outstretched an arm.
"I'm Alyssa," she told him as she shook his hand. His smile was quick to drop once she did so though, so she quickly retrieved it.
"Taurus," he mumbled under his breath, taking her aback.
"What did you say?"
"Nothing," he quickly spoke before giving her a clearly forced smile.
She furrowed her eyebrows.
"Well, I have to go now," she told him. "Do you by any chance know where room 302 is?" She asked glancing down at the paper with her room number.
"Just continue down the corridor until you reach an elevator and use it to get to the third floor. Room 302 should be on that floor somewhere."
"Thank you," she smiled as she began to walk in the other direction but he was quick to grab her arm, making her turn to him immediately.
His grip tightened in her hand as he pulled down the left sleeve of her dark red hoodie, covering the tattoo.
"It would best to hide this," he told her with a smile.
"Why?" She questioned.
"When did you arrive here?"
"This morning."
"Makes sense. I'll explain everything later but for now hide it...that is unless you want to be killed."
