War has now arrived. Trying to run away from the truth is easier said than done, because it will catch up to you. To the point that, you will just accept it. This place is no longer safe. The fields may be open but soon, this place will be crowded with danger. I will take one for myself. I will do everything to protect the people. I may get injured, but that would be the last thing I'll think about. We will come rise up again.
We are starting to build a big plan. I soon asked.
"So, what's the plan?"Ben replied.
"There is an exposed hole within the station's surface. I still kept the design of the laser satellite but I redesigned so we can activate it via remote without needing to be on the satellite itself."General Haite Marne, a former member of the Republic Fleet, responded.
"Yeah, but the enemy also can catch up to us. We should be able to distract them."I volunteered myself to this mission.
"I'll go."Stev asked.
"But you are needed on the fleet.""You go in there yourself. I'll keep Harren and his commander-in-chief from further notice. They shouldn't notice the laser until it's fully stabilized. I will see you all later once it's done."
And there I went to the station, this time, I won't let him go. Yet security is more strict than ever. But I manage to go pass it. I got hackers on our side to hack security footage and keep anyone from noticing. I then smashed the door to the floor.
"You're back. This will be like yesterday. Only then I won't accept defeat.""You piece of robot junk."
"Surrender and I'll let you go, or else."
"I shall never vow to you."
"Okay then, I will see your little fleet gone today."
I then shot his commander-in-chief down to the floor. I hope in this time he will stop. But this didn't stop him. He had no mercy for the ones who worked for him.He striked first. I managed to block him and got a chance to attack. But his new hand was armed. He used energy to push me back. But I used the chance to cut exposed wires in the control room and destroy every button I saw. He charged at me. Then I shot my gun, but he managed to deflect it. I also deflected it back. Then it looked more like Pong. Then, I used my odds against him, and shot his legs.
"Sure, you may not be a man like us. But your programming is not even close to the intelligence of a computer. Surrender now.""Never!"
He then ran to the control panel and shouted.
"Get all forces down there, now!"I then stabbed his power source with my blade. Then I left him there where he belongs.
This is Stev Ross, member of the Freedom Fleet. I am writing this as of December 31, 2287. I will be the one to continue this paper due to Jones' injury.
He came running down the hallway to the remaining flights to save the remaining population to a new planet similar to Earth's. It is an artificial planet which will be shot by the planet laser he took part of. He wanted to do the honors and shoot it himself. He fired it and it landed on the right spot in a nearby solar system. The ship doors are closing and he jumped yet his head bumped and fell. He was given immediate treatment but the treatment will take too long. He was there, just lying in a bed.
The Freedom Fleet were on the run to distract the Republic Fleet. They all did what they can but not all survived. Yet, they successfully launched the laser. The remaining ships fled off to the new planet. Once all ships landed, Earth was rebuilt. Even if the enemy may return in a newer body, we will stand for who we are. Today will be known as the Day of the Free. We will no longer be fools. Today, our life is renewed. This is Rebirth.
