Chapter 6 : The Horrible Surprise

Jestro's POV:
I waited patiently till midnight. I trained as I waited to pass time easily. Well, I have to say that it's feels pretty great to be a Knight in shining armor. I mean, look at me. I'm so shiny and golden, with my new suit and armor. I look like a hero, and I like that. Since that day I started becoming a Knight, I realized that everyone started to respect me, for who I am, and I appreciate that. Lance even told me that my new golden look could almost compete with his fabulous hair. Oh, Lance, always the shiniest Knight around. But I have to admit, that he's changed a lot since Clay's turned to stone. He started to cherish friendship more and to give up his arrogance and spoiled attitude. I kinda admire him now. And I forgave him for his actions towards me when I was still at the Knights' Academy. He made me cry but I assumed that he regretted that soon. I decided to let bygones be bygones, though.

I hope that the meeting with Macy will improve our friendship with each other, and I also hope that I'll be brave enough to tell her that I love her when we meet.

I wonder what Macy's doing now...

One hour before midnight, I took off my floppy hat to comb my spiky, black hair. My hair looked messy after being kept for so many hours under my jester hat. No one, except for my Knight friends have seen my hair before, not even the King and Queen, and Merlok have seen it.

After I once again, put on my jester hat, I took a deep breath and lowered the drawbridge of the Rolling Fortrex so I could go out and meet Macy at the Knightonia Central Park. I was quite nervous but I am ready to confess to her. I have to be more courageous to do so.

It was a long walk to the park. I had to go there on foot, for Robin is still fixing the Jestroyer of Axl's Rolling Arsenal, which was destroyed by the infected monsters of Monstrox a few days ago during a battle.

Well, speaking of Axl, he's quite a nice guy. I remembered that incident that happened a few years ago, when I was eating alone at the castle's dining hall, with nobody to talk to. Just when I was about to leave the table, a big figure appeared before me. It was Axl, the big guy. He accompanied me and chatted with me. We were very happy. He even ate along with me, and didn't leave the table until our meal was finished. He just had his third lunch. Oh, I just wanna thank him, for being such a good friend to me. He not only has a big appetite, he also has a big heart. I wanna hug him so bad, but not vice versa, though. For I was afraid that he will accidentally crush my bones, heh heh...

I finally arrived at the Central Park as I thought about my past encounters with the Nexo Knights. It took me some time to find Macy, who was also looking for me.

"Macy," I said. "You finally came!"

"Jestro," she said as she noticed me. "Was it you that wro- AHHHH!!!!!"

A figure caught her and dragged her away!

Oh, what should I do?!? I panicked as I saw that the figure has a familiar green hand.

"Monstrox!!!" I shrieked as I realized who that figure was. Then I rushed towards him to save my crush, or at least try to...

Wait... How did Monstrox know that we will meet here, at the Central Park of Knightonia?

The mysterious figure I saw this afternoon... It might be real! The figure I saw this afternoon might actually be him!

I sighed as I continued running.

I just hope that Monstrox didn't do anything bad to her, yet. Because I know he will.
