Chapter 7 : The Rescue

Jestro's POV:
I kept running as fast as my legs could carry me, and all I heard now is Macy's screaming.

"Jestro!!!"she shrieked. "Were you involved in this?!?"

"N-N-No!" I replied. "No way! I-I-I will explain later!" I suddenly felt really mad at Monstrox. What's he gonna do with this? Why did he capture Macy anyway? Ah, forget about it, Jestro, just keep running...

Monstrox stopped at the Knightonia Royal Arena (whatever they called it in the show), which was really quiet as no one except for the three of us were in there.

Determination made me braver.

"Hey, Monstrox!!!" I shouted at him. "Let the Princess go, you freak!"

"Oh,"Monstrox said with a smug smile. "Looks like someone has a crush on the Princess, huh, Joke-Boy?"

"Stop that!!!" I screamed as I saw Macy blushing like a beetroot. I blushed too as I shook my head. I have to concentrate on defeating Monstrox and leave the confession for later.

"Don't you dare say something that wasn't proved true, yet, Monstrox!" I said. "Just, let.her.go! I won't repeat this again. Why did you capture her anyway? She has nothing to do with this! I've already said that would you just leave me alone for once?!?"

"Hah!" Monstrox chuckled. "Yeah, but it won't be easy. Join me, or I'll take the Princess!"

"Jestro!!!! Help me!!!!" Macy screamed in fear. "I'm sorry, I should've..."

"It's okay, Macy," I said, gently. "Don't worry, I'll be fine."

"Wow, so sweet," Monstrox said with a smirk. "I wonder when is your honeymoon..."

"Shut up, you filthy creature!" I shouted as I pointed my two daggers towards him. Yeah, I've already prepared them, just in case something bad happens. Well, I was right. I've been worrying about that "mysterious figure" since afternoon.

"Woah, woah, woah..." Monstrox said. "Take it easy, Joke-Boy..."

"I will never, ever join you," I said. "We'll fight instead."

"No, Jestro, no..." Macy shouted at me.

"For the Princess, for me, for the King and Queen, for the Nexo Knights..." I said.

"Ah, for crying out loud!" said Monstrox, impatiently.

"Hey, that's my line!" I said. "Well, but mostly... For the kingdom of Knighton!!!!!!!!" I screamed as I charged towards him with my daggers in my hands.

"Jestro... No... Don't do this..."I could hear Macy say.
