[Completed] Jestro x Macy-The Princess And The Jester

Chapter 9 : The Celebration

Jestro's POV:
The next day, the King held a celebration, in honor of me for saving the Princess.

I think that some time between yesterday and today, Macy told her father about what happened last night and her father was so grateful, he held this celebration, just for me. I thank them for that.

"Hello, citizens of Knighton," King Halbert spoke. "We've gathered around here to honor our brave, brave Knight jester, Jestro for saving our beloved Princess Macy. Let us cheer for Jestro!"

The Knights and the Tighty Knighties are down there, cheering for me as the King spoke. And I can see that Shia LaBlade and Brickney Spears are holding hands as they cheered for me. I suddenly remembered that Clay once told me that the two of them are together. I am happy for them.

"Now, it's time for our heroic Knight jester, Jestro to give a speech," said the King as the crowd once again cheered for me.

I walked towards the microphone as I adjusted it. Then, I started to speak:

"Hello, to all the citizens of Knighton. I am Jestro, the formerly evil, and I am here to say that I am sorry for my past evil acts, and I hope that all of you will forgive me for that, for I had already changed completely. I am free from evil, and I regretted threatening and attacking Knighton with my monsters, leaving all of you in fear.

Well, that's what I was supposed to say a year ago, but Monstrox controlled me with his evil lightning, leaving all of you believing that I am still evil, but I am not, and I mean it.

But what I really want to say today, to all of you, is thank you. Thank you for accepting me as a citizen of Knighton. Thank you for giving me a place to stay in Knighton. Thank you, for letting me become a Knight, of Knighton. And because of that, I will try my best to defend and protect this beautiful realm. I fight, but not just for the Princess, the King, the Queen, and the Knights. I fight, for all of you, for this whole realm. And I fight for what's right.

And last but not least, I solemnly swear that I will protect Knighton from the forces of evil at any cause. And I hope that I will once again, gain the trust of my friends, teammates, and the people of Knighton.
Thank you."

People cheered as I spoke. But I could see that some of them looked at me with a sad face, sighing. I assumed that they were the ones that once laughed at me. I'll forgive them, though.

"Thank you, brave, brave Jestro, for saving the Princess from the forces of evil," thanked the King.

"Well, actually I am the one who should thank all of you, like I just said," I told the King. "Especially the Princess. She supports me no matter what. She even helped me train when Clay's not present. And she believes in me. I like her for that..." I said as I accidentally blushed.

"Well, why don't you two just...be together?" The King asked. "I won't mind."

"Really?" Macy and I were surprised.

"Yes, and I support that too," said the Queen.

"Oh, thank you, dad, you too, mom!" Macy said as she embraced me. I blushed again.

"Hooray for the Princess! Hooray for Jestro!"

Well, I guess the crowd heard our conversation, heh heh... That's awkward...

But then, I heard something even more awkward.

"Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!"

The two of us blushed bright red as we saw that Clay was shouting the loudest. Oh, Clay, my old friend...

What?!? Even the lava monsters are here!

Oh fine, I thought, it wasn't that hard... Then I put my arms around her waist as she put hers around my neck.

Then, we kissed for a few seconds as the crowd cheered once more.

"Oh mama mia..." Arnoldi said as he stood aside. "That is pretty awkward, heh heh heh..."

I could see that the King and Queen were smiling proudly as we kissed. They really supported us!

After the celebration, Roberto approached us as he was holding a little sculpture he made. He bowed to the Princess and turned to me.

"Heya, my friend," he said. "Here's a little something for you two."

It was a sculpture of the Knights and me. I was about to cry.

"Thank you, Arnoldi," I said as I hugged him. "You really are a great friend" He smiled as he hugged me back.

"Hey yo, Jestro!" Aaron said as the Knights and the Tighty Knighties came afterwards. "Congrats, bro!" He said as he put out a hand.

"Thanks, Aaron," I shook his hand.

"So, what are the two of you going to do now?" Axl asked.

"It's a secret," I said. "C'mon, let's all go out for dinner tonight!"

"I'll treat y'all," said Lance.

"Thanks, Lance!" said the rest of us as we walked out of the arena.

"So, when is your big day, Jestro?" Clay asked me.

"CLAY!!!!!!!!" I shouted. Then, I chased him out of the arena as the others laughed like mad.

Ah, it's great to have friends like the Knights and the Tighty Knighties. I cherish our friendship. I also promised the King and Queen that I will love Macy with all my heart.

But now, I'll have to successfully "capture" Clay first, that mischievous guy!
