27: China's Panda

No one's POV:

On the next day you were sitting under the apple three, reading a book. It was nice weather, the sun was rising and little wind played with your hair. The birds were chirping as you turned the next page.

Finally a peaceful day. Now i can just relax.

You thought as someone sat next to you.

"What are you reading ragazza?" Romano asked as you looked at him.

Rule number one hundred and twenty five: Never interrupt reading me.

You sighed and smiled a little.

"It's called: 'The Little Prince'" You told.

"Hmm? What is it about?" He asked. He was kinda peaceful, which was unusual of him and you were a little freaked out.

Maybe someone gave him a basket of fresh tomatoes?

But you were more shocked at the fact that he didn't knew The Little Prince. Even you knew it, since you used to read it when you were a child. Few days ago you had random strong urge to read it so you went to look if it was on the bookshelf in the living room, and for your luck, it was.

"Wait you haven't ever heard of it?!" You asked, and were slightly panicking.

How's that even possible?! He's so old, well not as old as China, but still he should have heard about it from somewhere!

Maybe he wasn't in the meeting where France bragged about it and England ended up throwing him out of the window? But still!

"Is that a problem?" He asked, crossed his arms, and looked like he was ready for shouting at you.

Wow where did the peaceful Romano dissappear?

"Oh um.. no, but it's really famous book!" You explained.

"Oh really? It looks really childlish to me" He said and raised his eyebrow.

"It's not! Though it's styled as a children's book, The Little Prince makes several observations about life and human nature! And there's some deep quotes too!" You defended the book.

"Who wrote it?" Romano suddenly asked.

"Antoine De Saint-Exupéry" You stated as you looked at the book's cover where the name was written, having hard time trying to say the name right.

"Sounds like a French name. It can't be good" Romano simply said.

You furrowed your eyebrows and looked at him angrily.

"Shut up, i'm gonna read to you and prove that this isn't a bad!" You told to him, took a good position, turned the first page and started to read outloud.

Romano raised his eyebrow, but after some minutes of listening, he took a good position next to you and leaned his head on your shoulder.

You tensed up a bit as he leaned on your shoulder and your voice cracked a little which made Romano chuckle, but you continued to read anyways.

Romano is acting today really weirdly.. Maybe Spain or someone drugged him or something?

Soon you found the Italian asleep as you rolled your eyes smiling and closed the book.

"Hey it wasn't that boring~" You mumbled quietly so you wouldn't wake him up.

"I could try to sleep as we-"

"(C/N)!! (C/N)!!" You heard China's voice as he ran to you two.

Romano woke up and grunted.
