Alone (Sasunaru)

Chapter 15

"Let's start shall we?.."

With Sasuke, Sakura and Sarada...

Sasuke, Sakura and Sarada were attacking the mini-Shins like crazy, especially Sasuke. He seemed really agitated. Normally he would've fought normally but now he was slashing through all the mini-Shin's like crazy with his Sharingan. Sasuke was the first one to reach the entrance of the cave. He then turned around and shouted to Sakura.

"I'm going ahead first! Look after Sarada!"

"Wait a minute, Sasuke-kun-!" But she didn't get to finish her sentence because more mini-Shin's came piling onto her. But Sakura pushed them away with her kunai. Sakura looked over to the entrance and saw Sasuke disappearing into the darkness. Sakura was angry. How could sasuke ignore her? She was his wife! I mean she did hide a few 'imortant' things from him but how could he?! 

Sakura stumbled while fighting mini-Shin's midway. She was angry as hell. Sarada looked over. She was barely holding out. She saw Sakura shaking, clenching her fists. Sarada knew what was going to happen next. Sarada leapt away on a high ice shelf and waited for it to happen. Sakura concentrated all her chakra in her fists. Her eyes were flaring with rage. This was all slow-motion for Sarada. The fist slowly punched into the ground. At first nothing happened but then cracks in the ground grew larger and then the floor started breaking up except for the little bit of platform Sakura was standing on. The hole was't too deep but it was...deep. The mini-Shin's fell inside and were stuck there. Sakura then leapt over to the entrance of the cave and ran into the darkness leaving Sarada behind. 

Sarada took off her glasses and wiped her tears away. Of course Sakura would run ahead and leave her behind. She obviously loved Sasuke more than her. But right now she had to concentrate on saving Lord Seventh from the clutches of Shin. Sarada put back her glasses on and leapt around the hole over to the entrance of the cave. 

With Naruko...

Shin laid Itachi's lifeless body on the bed and motioned quite a few mini-Shin's over to him. One was carrying a glass jar with a floating blue chakra, which was Itachi's soul. The other 4 were dragging corpses of missing ninja that disappeared over the week or so. Shin turned over to Naruko, who was helplessly tied to the chair. 

"Today you will witness the revival on Uchiha Itachi-sama.."He smirked and then turned back to Itachi's body. Naurko panicked.

No, no, no, no, no, nononononononononnoo....This can't be happening..If he revives Itachi, what I've sacrificed would go to waste..But the Sage of Six Paths said that he would be released when the world was most in need of help..Now isn't the time..

Shin prepared himself and took put a medium scroll. He laid it out onto the floor and performed some hand-signs. he then put his hand on the scroll. 

"Summoning Jutsu: Reanimation, Soul Release!" Naruko's eyes widened. Mini-Shin released the blue soul from it's jar and then the soul got sucked into Itachi's body. A ghost of a devil appeared behind Shin and Shin threw the bodies at the devil and the devil sucked the little reminants of the souls left of the corpses, but that wasn't enough. Shin then opened up his arms towards the devil and the devil sucked half of his soul out. Shin laughed hysterically and then suddenly stopped. His eyes went blank. Shin then collapsed and stayed there. Naruko looked away. She couldn't see this. Shin just offered half of his soul to the devil himself. Doing that was a very risky thing. If you even let the devil touch a little bit of your soul, slowly over time he would've consumed your soul which makes you lose sanity. It was like a curse. Offering half your soul is worse. You wouldn't be able to do anything properly. By now, Shin's soul was covered in pure darkness. He could barely think. He couldn't move.

What's happening..?..This isn't.. right...I must see Itachi-sama...I'm just so.....tired... Let me rest first...I'm so....

Naruko saw the devil drag the rest of Shin's soul out and in exchange for his soul. A blue flame came out of the devil's mouth and floated over to Itachi's body. His soul and the blue flame combined together and then floated into Itachi's body. Naruko saw this and saw Itachi's fingers twitch. Naruko's puffy red eyes widened. Suddenly Itachi's body started moving. He started coughing. Naruko used up all her strength to break out of the chains and scrambled over to Itachi. Her wound hurt like hell. It hurt so very much, but she ignored the excruciating pain. She put her ear over Itachi's chest.

BA-BUMP..

Suddenly Naruko saw Itachi's eyes open. Itachi sat up and rubbed his head. Black orbs wandered over to and met bright cerulean eyes. They stared at each other for a few seconds. Then Naruko started to break down. Words came out of Naruko's mouth that made Itachi tear up and hug her.

Thank god you're safe..Itachi....
