Naruko breathed in and out. It was finally the big day. She looked in the mirror. She asked herself these questions everyday.

Do I deserve this?

This was too good to be true. Naruko pulled at the veil over her head. Was this really necessary? Probably. Hinata and Ino have been nagging Naruko to wear it and the other girls as well. She looked into he mirror and sighed.

I'm probably too old to even do this..

Her awakening was quite a surprise to the whole village and she received so many gifts everyday. The hospital was overcrowded with citizens everyday giving their sincerity and gratefulness to her, shouting to Naruko's room. Naruko would just look outside the window and wave at them. Once Naruko was discharged from the hospital a meeting was made with the clan leaders, feudal lords and the Hokage herself. Naruko was going to take he position of Holage again.

Then there was the the festival, to celebrate the Hokage's return. Yep. That was a thing.. Everyone was there. Itachi, Sarada, the other teams. And oh can't forget the other villages. Everything went smoothly. Then it was Sasuke's turn for his speech. And during the speech something surprising happened. Sasuke realises his feelings for Naruko and proposed to her. Everyone was in shock and everything went silent. Naruko's face was bright red. Like Hinata's. Naruko stammered out a word ever so slowly.

"Y-yes...."

And here we are, in Naruko's dressing room. The door suddenly opened and Itachi and Sarada stepped in. They had huge smiles on their faces. Of course they would. They were happy about Naruko's engagement. Itachi and Sarada hugged Naruko. It had been a while since they were all together since Naruko has been busy with paperwork and village affairs. Once they pulled away they nodded to Naruko. It was time. Naruko breathes in and out and then stepped out of her dressing room. Naruko looked breathtaking. Her golden long hair touched the ground and her long white wedding dress flowed onto he ground with layers of fabric layered on top of each other. There was a see through veil around her head and flowers covering her dress. Naruko looked angelic. Naruko waited outside the main hall door and then the bells sounded. The doors opened. The wind blew into Naruko's face and he saw Sasuke in top of the platform holding his hand out and smiling.

"Let's go, my wife."

Naruko grinned and ran towards him and then leapt into his arms.

This was truly a dream come true.
