Just running behind
A ball, you say.
Just kicking a ball,
You think. Oh, only
If it was that easy.
At first glance simple,
But look further on.
Don’t you see it?
See how they play
As one, dream as one,
Breathe as one.
There are no stars
Individual. They are
One, one blazing sun,
Outshining twinkles.
One goal, one heart beat
For all. They are one.
Kicking the ball is easy.
Running and chasing is easy.
Challenge is playing
As one. Dreaming as one.
Breathing as one. Being one.
<This is an answer to all the people who tell me football is just kicking a ball and chasing a ball. It's simple, but much more complex at the same time...
<This is also the reason why I support the German team. They know how to dream as one and breath as one. Their team spirit is awesome!
