It took everything in Luna's power to force herself out of bed the next morning. She felt sick to her stomach and exhausted, but the moment Hedwig threatened to go and get Aksel to check on her, she was up in mere seconds.

Due to her fatigued state, she truly didn't feel like talking to anyone, but the moment she accidentally dropped Nathan Chen's name, Hedwig wanted to know all the details.

"Since when do you know Nathan Chen?" Hedwig asked. "I thought Maia said that you hadn't met him yet."

The two Scandinavian girls were currently walking through the corridors of the building where figure skating practice was taking place. Maia and Alex had invited them to watch the routines with them due to the fact that neither one had practice for their own events until later in the week.

Luna shrugged. "I met him last night after I left the dinner to go to our room. He's really nice."

She didn't find it necessary to inform the redhead about her encounter with Jonas Solheim. He didn't hurt her, so what would be the point? However, she still felt guilty, hiding something from her best friend.

But she could never seem to remember that she wore all her emotions on her face.

Hedwig gave her a look. "You are leaving out some information. I can tell by your eyes. You refuse to make eye contact with me."

Quickly, Luna responded with the first lie that popped into her brain. "I'm just tired. I was only able to take one nap yesterday when I normally have about three or so."

Technically, she wasn't lying. Back home, to just get through the day without falling asleep, Luna had to take at least three twenty minute naps. However, now being in Pyeongchang on a totally different time zone and having to attend dinners and practice was messing with her body.

"Okay, after we watch a few people practice, we can go back to our room and you can take a nap, alright? Your competition is coming up and I don't want you to do badly just because you are tired," Hedwig told her as they entered the area that housed the ice rink.

The temperature seemed to drop at least ten degrees and Luna regretted not bringing her heavier coat. She instead chose her red Norway zip up hoodie.

Hedwig and Luna glanced up at the stands, searching for the familiar faces of the Shibutani siblings. They quickly spotted Maia who was waving; however, before they could make their way toward her, a familiar voice stopped Luna in her tracks.

"Luna!"

The blonde's body tensed slightly as the familiar brown-haired girl skated toward her. She forced herself to put on a smile.
