Liam's little sister

Chapter 5

KATHY'S POV

It's been about 5 days since the wreck. I have been home for about 3 days, I am currently staying with my best friend Jenifer. I'm on my way to my last dance practice before my big competition. I'm nervous and excited at the same time because the lads and their girlfriends have never seen me dance let alone perform at a competition. I really hope I can make Liam proud. My parents are still in the hospital I go and visit every day. I sit next to them and tell them about my day and what I have planned for the rest of the week or night.

"Jenifer, you don't have to stay for practice and wait for me I'm going to call Lili to come get me." I told her.

"If you say so." She said as we pulled into the parking lot of my dance studio.

I got out of the car and grabbed my bag and ran inside because I was late and my director hates it when any of us are late. They were already stretching so I ran and out my dance shoes on and started stretching with everyone else.

JENIFER'S POV

After I got Liam's call I have been a mess. I have never seen him like this. He is so stressed because he thinks that something is going to happen to Kathy and they didn't catch it.

That's one of the things I love about Liam. He cares so much about his family and his friends. Even when we were little he cared about everyone. Kids would make fun of me because I wasn't able to read in class right and one time Liam got so mad that he punched this kid in the middle of class. That's the day I found out that I had a crush on him but I couldn't do anything about it because he was dating my best friend. And now that he is dating Danielle he'll never notice me. I mean the way that he looks at her you can tell that he is really happy with her. And if he is happy that's all that really matters. I just wish that he would see me for more than just a friend.

KATHY'S POV

After a long 3-hour practice of going over and over the dances we were finally able to leave. So, I went and called Liam to come and get me

(L-Liam; K-Kathy)

L- Hey Kathy are you alright?

K- Yea I'm fine I wanted to see if you wanted to pick me up from practice

L- I'm sorry I can't I'm out with Danielle for dinner. Call one of the other lads and they might be able to go get you.

K- Alright I will. Tell Dani I say hi! Bye Lili!

L- I will! Bye!

Now who do I call? Oh, I know! I'll call Niall and see if he is busy

(N-Niall; K-Kathy)

N-Hello?

K-Hey!

N-Kathy are you alright?

K-Yea I'm find just stranded at my studio because Lili can't come get me because he is out with Danielle.

N- Do you need me to go get you?

K-I mean if you don't mind that would be great!

N-Yea that's fine I was going to go out and go get Nando's anyways so now I have someone to go with!

K- Yay! I love Nando's

N- Alright text me the address and I'll come get you

K- Alright I'll send it to you now! Bye Niall see you soon.

N-Bye!

Now to sit and wait for him to come. Thank God, I brought my song book so I can keep writing my song. I took it out of my bag and tried writing new lyrics, it's hard when you don't have an instrument to play as your writing. It took me a min to get in the zone but I finally got some more lyrics in just as Niall pulled up. I quickly tried to put my song book back in my bag before he saw it but it ended up falling on the floor and he saw it.

"What's that?" He said.

DANG IT!

"It's...uh...nothing." I stuttered.

"Well if it's nothing then let me see." He said as he reached for it

"No!" I said.

"Well why not?" He asked.

"Because it's nothing important." I lied, it is the most important thing in my life. If I ever lost this I think I would die.

"I know your lying Kathy." He said.

Damn he knows me so well. What am I supposed to say? I don't want him knowing about this. Nobody except my family and Jenifer knew about this.

"Just drop it." I told him as I got in the car.

"Alright." He said as we drove off.

NIALL'S POV

I had just woken up from a nap when my phone rang. It was Kathy. Honestly, I don't know what it is about her but she always brightens my day. I guess you can say that I have a little crush on her, but knowing that she is Liam's little sister he would kill me if he knew.

(K-Kathy, N-Niall)

N-Hello?

K-Hey!

N-Kathy are you alright?

K-Yea I'm find just stranded at my studio because Lili can't come get me because he is out with Danielle.

N- Do you need me to go get you?

K-I mean if you don't mind that would be great!

N-Yea that's fine I was going to go out and go get Nando's anyways so now I have someone to go with!

K- Yay! I love Nando's

N- Alright text me the address and I'll come get you

K- Alright I'll send it to you now! Bye Niall see you soon.

N-Bye!

Now I have to get dressed and go pick her up.

About 15 mins later I was in the car driving to Kathy's studio. It wasn't far from the hotel, it was about 15 mins away. I'm excited for this weekend because Liam said that he has a surprise for all of us. I wonder what it is. He says that it starts tomorrow and ends on Sunday. But what would start on a Friday and end on a Sunday? Maybe it's a fair or carnival or something. I was pulling up to the studio where Kathy was when I saw that she was rushing to put something in her bag. Well her being her clumsy self it fell on the floor and as she went to go get it I rolled down my window.

"What's that?" I asked.

"It's...uh...nothing." She stuttered.

"Well if it's nothing then let me see." I said as I reached for it. By this time, she had already picked it up.

"No!" She said.

"Well why not?" I asked.

"Because it's nothing important." She lied

"I know your lying Kathy." I said. I have known her for so long that I already know when she is lying.

"Just drop it." She told me as she got in the car.

"Alright." I said as we drove off.

I wonder what she could be hiding.... Is it her diary? Or something? I have to find out....
