Chapter 6

NIALL'S POV

Now I know what you're going to say... "Why would you want to know what is in her diary?" Or, "Why does it matter?" Well you see.... I know that she is capable of a lot of things... NOT IN THAT WAY!!! But I know that see could do more than just dance. But I don't know why she doesn't just tell me so now I have to find out the hard way.

"Kathy... We're home." I said shaking her a little bit so she can wake up.

"We are? That was fast." She said opening her eyes slowly.

"It took 15 minutes." I told her laughing. I got out and walked around to open the door.

"Niall it's fine I can walk." She said with her eyes closed.

"You can't even keep your eyes open." I told her as I picked her up bridal style.

She wrapped her arms around my neck and snuggled into my chest as I walked to Jenifer's house. I got inside and she had fallen asleep again. So, as I put her down on the bed she grabbed on to my shirt so I wouldn't leave.

"Okay, okay I'll stay, but if your brother walks in I'm blaming you." I whispered and laughed.

"He'll get over it." She said as she turned over.

I got under the covers and held her close as I drifted off to sleep. Moments later I heard a phone vibrating, I looked to see if it was my phone but it wasn't. It was Kathy's. I checked to see who it was and it was Liam. I don't know what to do... Do I answer? Eh... What's the worst that can happen? I picked up the phone and clicked the accept button.

(L-Liam; N-Niall)

L- Hello Kathy are you alright?

N- Hey buddy!

L- Niall what the hell are you doing with my sister's phone?

N-Nothing she's sleeping, I went to pick her up from her practice and she fell asleep in the car so I brought her down and she wanted me to stay so I did

L-You didn't do anything, did you?

N- No of course not I would never!

L- Alright well tell her to ring me when she wakes up

N- Will do!

Well since she slept through that whole conversation maybe she won't wake up.... So, I got out of bed and walked over to her bag to see when she put the little book.

I finally found it at the bottom of the bag. It wasn't just any book it was a song book. I stared at it in awe. I didn't know that she could write songs or even sing. Now that I think about it I have never heard her sing. There was one song in particular that she was writing that wasn't finished.

Well let me see if I can find a guitar and maybe I could help her a little bit. She only had one verse done... Maybe I could help her write one more? I walked back into her room and found it. Her guitar. I walked over to the living room and sat with the small book and started playing.

KATHY'S POV

I woke up to someone singing. I don't even remember how I got into bed. All I remember is Niall driving me home. I walked out of my room to see who was singing.

OH. MY. GOD.

Niall found my book! NO, NO, NO, NO this can't be happening! He was singing my song! What do I do?!

"What are you doing?!" I asked/screamed.

"Nothing I was trying to help you write this song." He said looking down.

"No-nobody was supposed to see that." I said stuttering.

"I'm sorry." Was all he said.

"You cannot say anything about this." I told him.

"I promise. Now come here and I'll help you write this song." He said as he patted the seat next to him

I slowly walked over there and sat next to him. He looked at me and gave me a small smile, I smiled back at him. He had written a little bit more to what I wrote

After two long hours of writing we finally finished the song. We sang it together and by the end we were just staring at each other. It looked like he was getting closer and closer. OH. MY. GOD was he going to kiss me? He got closer and closer until he finally closed the gap and I felt his lips on mine. The kiss was slow and sweet. Right in the middle of the kiss someone decided to open the front door, I didn't really care who it was I was in the middle of kissing the guy I have been dying to kiss since I met.

"Am I interrupting something?" Oh no... It was my brother

"Oh shit." Niall said as he pulled away.

"Niall leave now please." Liam said his eyes never leaving mine.

"I'm sorry" He said as he left.

"Kathy, what the hell is going on?" He asking coming closer to me.

"Well he found my song book and then he woke me up with singing it and then he helped me finish it and when we sang it all together and one thing lead to another and we kissed." I said with a smile never leaving my face.

"You know how I feel about you dating one of the guys. I just don't want you to get hurt." He said.

"Lili, you know Niall as well as I do if not better. We both know that he wouldn't even hurt a fly." I told him.

"I suppose your right." He said with a sigh.

"Lili, I really do like him." I said getting closer to him.

"I know, I can see it in your eyes and the way you talk about him. That's how I am with Danielle." He said looking at me.

"Let me see this song you guys wrote." He said as he took the song book and read the whole thing.

I sat back on the couch and sleep took over me.
