Tony Stark POV

I sat in uncomfortable silence as Steve swiveled in his chair to look at me. When the others noticed his stare, they too looked at me questionably.

Fury noticed the stares. "What? Do you know him, Stark?"

I hesitated.

"Answer the question," Fury demanded.

"I know someone who knows him. Someone I just met today."

Fury looked...well, furious. "Well, don't just sit around then! Get the person to arrange a meeting with Jackson."

"I can't."

"Why?"

"I just met her today, and she's a good kid. She doesn't seem like the type to hang around a terrorist. Also, even if Percy is a terrorist, then why would he come to a government agency? Real great plan."

Fury sighed. "Stop talking about it and start making a dang plan. If you have a way to contact him, do it."

With that, he stormed out, just to run into Thor, who was just coming in. He brushed past Thor and walked down the hall, his boots echoing on the tile.

Thor sat down at the table and took the file. He took one glance at the name and started to laugh. Through his laughs, he was able to get out this, "You," laugh, "think," another laugh, "that you can capture," laugh, "Percy Jackson?!"

Natasha and Clint looked uncomfortable. " What do you mean? He's only 18."

Thor laughed so much that tears leaked out of his eyes. He stood up. "I wish you luck, good comrades. I'm afraid you're going to need it."

He strode out of the room like Fury, which left us sitting in silence.

Natasha looked at me. "I don't know, it sounded like a good plan to me. Why don't we just ask the girl to arrange a meeting, Tony? I'll capture the boy while he's here. Simple. And no, Tony, she doesn't need to know you were involved," she added as I opened my mouth to speak.

I sighed. She was right, if I weren't so opposed to tricking Annabeth I would totally agree. "Okay," I said in defeat. I called Annabeth.

She picked up the phone. "Hello?" I heard her say. It had barely been ten minutes since I had seen her. I sighed inwardly. Maybe I should have waited a day.

"Annabeth? It's Tony. I wanted to pick up where we left off. Want to arrange a meeting?"

"Sure! I just got back to Percy's but I'm sure we can arrange to meet soon."

"Oh! You're with Percy... Well, why don't you just bring him along?" I asked, trying to keep my voice casual. If Annabeth was suspicious, she didn't let on.

"Okay, let me ask him. Mind you, he might not come. He's not into design work." I heard muffled talking, and then Annabeth spoke again. "He'll come as long as we, how did he say it? Oh, yeah, as long as we don't use 'big words'. So, are we going to do this right now, or..."

I thought for a moment. "Why not?"

"Okay then. See you soon." With that, she hung up the phone. I turned to the rest of the Avengers.

"She's coming over with Percy. Where are you guys going to be?"

Natasha told us the plan, and I went to my spot in the meeting room. I pulled out a cup of coffee and tried to act natural. Natasha was going to be "playing video games on the couch" ready to strike Percy at the right moment.

Annabeth knocked on the door and came in, the same backpack over her shoulder, only this time she had a boy in tow. Percy looked alert, his deep sea-green eyes searching, and he held himself in a position where he could easily defend any attacks from within the room. His eyes flitted around the room, first resting on Natasha, then me, and then following Annabeth to a seat.
