Yay, decided it's time to write about my love and obsession with the best game in the whole entire world: Fortnite. Now to be specific, it's Battle Royale that I love, and not Save the World (though I have not played, and will be when made later this year!). Anyways I'm going to talk about one of my games, and stuff like favorite weapon, favorite town, stuff like that. In the words of Ali-A, but modified to accommodate this: let's jump right into the story (insert lit British accent, and we are good)
Ok, too start it all off, let's jump into my first and only Victory Royale. Yep, only one, but hey Victory Royales are really hard to come by on PC when you have people like Ninja, Myth, and Drake on there. Anyways here is my first and only victory royale, with a twist ending.
So, I was solo, and I had already planned to land outside of the ring and the one place I knew wasn't going to be action packed at the beginning was none other than everybody's favorite Shifty Shafts. Might not be everyone's number one, but it's loot packed and it's got plenty of materials for later on. Anyways, dropped down, got a Rare Assault Rifle, and a shield potion. Popped that bad boy, and after a bit (not that long) found a chest, and got the Epic SCAR. So my game was doing good so far. Actually ran into someone down there and was able to secure a kill. After looting the place, adding the uncommon (as in the green rank) hunting rifle and 6 mini shields, keeping one slot open for the sniper or RPG/Grenade Launcher, I left Shifty Shafts and started to head for Tilted Towers, since action is legit everywhere there. So around 5 minutes of farming, I stumbled upon a team of 4, but I didn't start attacking, letting them leave since I was one and they were 4. After that, made it into Tilted and kept low. That was around 36 people left. The storm eye was legit going to be in Tilted so I stayed, and was thankfully able to secure a Epic semi-automatic sniper, and I basically just camped on the roof watching out into the storm, and every few minutes moved around a bit, just to make sure if I sniped I was RPG'd or killed while sniping. I was able to get 2 kills before the storm eye was right at the outskirts of Tilted, and there were 5 people left, which is surprising how fast everyone bit the dust. Anyways, I started building a big fort on top of clock tower, since thats a good sniping spot and I had a launch pad in case of emergency and some traps below me if some one came up below me, or up the side. Anyways, that took me about 3 minutes, before it was me and 2 others, which I figured out was a duo. I think they didn't know I was there, and that they had cleared out that base, because for some reason I sniped one (got a 110 m kill!) and the other didn't notice. I used the launch pad and landed on top of one of the apartment buildings and pulled out the SCAR. I was able to land a few shots as he passed but he was able to build a base. I had another launch pad and used it, jumping and landing right below his base. Now, I started to build a ramp up, and midway pulled out the SCAR, and turned around. I don't know how I did it, but I shot him. He had flanked me after he saw me use my jump pad, and I didn't know it. Anyways I got the Victory Royale, started jumping around and yelling, and then my computer died. So, reloaded it back up, and the win hadn't even registered. I keep telling alot of my friends this story, and they always say without proof, they will never believe me. So here are my takeaways from this. Play with a computer charger in, screenshot your win, and don't trust a Windows 10. Actually do, but that was the computer I was using.
Anyways, next is basically my top 5 stuff. So let's jump right into it!
Top 5 Places to Land
1- Haunted Hills (best spot in my opinion! Super secluded, usually no one is there, a bunch of loot, chests, and materials)
2- Risky Reels (loot and materials are number one reason)
3- Lucky Landing (great spot; pretty quiet)
4- Dusty Divot (always has some people; good for early kills)
5- Tilted Towers (hell, but good)
