Now, several days after Monty revealed the news to Clarke, Raven and Harper, or as he would say, his inner circle. It wasn't that he didn't trust the others - he just relied on them to do what they keep doing. Plus Murphy was far from ready to even go out his room, nevermind go outside, and Bellamy needed to be there for him, so it was important that he didn't know they had contact with the bunker. Then, there's Echo, we is hated by practically all of the nations and coalition, so she shouldn't really go either.
It was later that night, that the four of them snuck out, making sure Madi wouldn't blow their cover. At night, none of the unknown people were around, so it was the perfect time. Monty only claimed he spoke to Indra for less than two minutes, but told her that the ground was once again survivable. Now, he can only assume that Indra would gather everyone - they needed everyone to be able to survive.
And Monty was right. When they arrived, a crowd of people were gathered near the bunker less than a mile away. Indra and Octavia among one of those in the crowd. It was only until then when Raven made her way through the crowd, that she could see what they were looking at. More than 100, but less than 200, dead, or injured bodies, lying lifeless, in pain on the floor. They didn't need to even ask who did this, it was obvious. Raven was then joined by Harper and Monty, whose expressions and feelings mirrored her own. Then, Raven, our of the corner of her eye, saw Jackson, lying on the floor, by the trees, quite a distance away from the others. She ran over to him, and noticed blood was pouring it of his shoulder, and quickly began to panic.
"Abby! We need Abby" Raven shouted while running around the crowd. But rather than Abby, came Marcus Kane.
"Who keeps calling Ab-" Marcus snapped, before stopping as the realization hit him "Reyes, it's you. And Green, we missed you"
"No time for soppy reunions, where the hell is Abby?" Raven continued, while Monty and Harper reassured Jackson. But then to Ravens disbelief, Kane said something unspeakable, unthinkable.
"Abby... Abby died" Kane said, with his eyes beginning to water up, "The chip, it damaged her brain severely, and- and eventually ki- killed her"
Raven's face went pale, how would Clarke react? Raven thought to herself, right before passing out, onto the ground in absolute shock. Clarke was still unaware of everything, as she was waiting to speak with Indra and Octavia in private, meanwhile Monty and Harper were trying to save Jackson's life.
