Part 13 - Gone

"I'm sorry to say this... but we think Monty committed suicide.." One of the officers said, while looking at the ground to pay his respects.

One Month Ago...
The pain and regret of revealing a secret like that was eating Monty up inside, he couldn't face it anymore. He couldn't face the fact that his weakness resulted in death.

Harper began to notice the change, he wasn't as loving anymore, he always looked on the darker, painful side of life. He felt as if he didn't belong, and gradually began isolating himself. First Murphy and Echo, then Bellamy, then Raven, and within weeks, he rarely saw Harper. The only person he wanted to see, was Jasper.

He thought life would be easier, if he could be reunited with his deceased friend, no regret, no guilt, and no secrets weighing him down like an anchor. Everyone realized something was wrong with him, and although Bellamy and Harper were there, they didn't put their finger on it.

So he did it. He saw no meaning to life, so he took it away from himself. One night, when no one was around, he ran off into the woods, and kept running and running until he couldn't be seen. He was ready to take his own life.

Tears fell down his eyes like a waterfall, he began to think of the positive things about it, like being reunited with his mum, his dad, jasper. But he knew he would be leaving Harper. Someone he loved for years.
"I'm sorry Harper..." Monty mumbled under his breath. And on that night, he killed himself.

Present Time
Raven, Harper, Clarke and Murphy stood there in disbelief. Harper and Raven couldn't hold their tears back, how ever Clarke and Murphy had become familiar to the heartbreak of death.

And after that day, no one was the same. Everyone was experiencing the same excruciating pain and sorrow of loosing a loved one. Wether it was because of Monty, Jasper, Lincoln, Finn, Abby, Emori or Lexa's death, no one felt safe anymore.

The following chapters will no longer specifically revolve around the death of Monty. But more on the aftermath, how people react, and new found relationships. It will also mainly focus on repairing relationships,
