-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-

Was it weird, that every time Mark was spending time with Donghyuck, the time either passed too fast, or stopped completely? Like, he didn't want the time to fade away, because he never had enough of Donghyuck, of his presence, of his smile, of the way he smelt like - and trust Mark's words, the latter smelt so good, it was almost like a poison (in a good way, of course).

He arrived at Donghyuck's at around 8:30PM, and he didn't notice when the clock hit 11PM. Yet, what they were doing was nothing more, nothing less, than sitting on a bench in the park, and talking about nonsense. Donghyuck didn't even get the chance to speak about what he wanted to, all because of Mark and his stories.

But he wasn't complaining. The longer they talked about other things, the less time he had to actually make a confession. I mean, to clarify things. Immature, he thought. But, he was afraid. He was so afraid of losing Mark, if the boy didn't know about their kiss.

He was afraid of losing his best friend, that he could count on anytime, anywhere, no matter what he was. He was afraid, that because of him and his stupid feelings, Mark would look at him differently, even though the latter never judged him. Mark never really showed any interests in boys, or maybe it was just Donghyuck being blinded by a made-up fact, that a boy like Mark, that can have any girl he ever wanted, would never think about him in a romantic way. Or see him as anything else but his little brother, a friend he met online.

— Mark.. — Donghyuck raised his voice, after a while of quietness, of course, getting the latter's attention directly. — What are the stars made of? What do you see as you look up there? — He asked softly, not taking his eyes from the sparkling dots.

— I'm not sure. Constellations? The truth is that I'm not that good on physics. — Mark laughed, at the same time smiling with his white teeth, making Donghyuck chuckle. —I'm hopeless. But, what do you want me to see?

—No, no. It's not me who should tell you what to see. Look carefully. What do you really see?

— Big glowing rock, flying somewhere in the galaxy? Come on, don't laugh and tell me already. I'm making a fool of myself..

— Close, but not there yet. Okay, I'll tell you. — Donghyuck continued, still having that soft look on him, that Mark simply couldn't resist. He just kept looking at the boy, smiling. —What we see, from down here, and call "stars", as a matter of fact are only lights, millions light years from us, that once used to be stars. So, what we actually see is not big, glowing rocks, that might fall at us at any moment. It's their past. Those lights don't have any owner anymore; the stars of theirs aren't there any longer, because they're dead. But, that isn't as bad as it sounds, you know? We have the honour to look at their past, to see how they once shined.

Mark loved how deep-thinking Donghyuck can be, but this was beyond him. He was telling something so meaningful to him, something that came deeply from the bottom if his heart. As for now, in Mark's eyes, he was shining brighter than any of the stars: both the dead one and the alive.

— Why are you telling me this, Donghyuck?

— I don't know. I just felt like letting this out of me. Actually, there's one star that is my favourite. And it's not dead, actually sometimes even too lively. And when I look at him, at his past, I think "woah, he changed my life so much, now he means so much to me".. — Donghyuck chuckled, finally put his eyes on the latter and noticed the look Mark had in his eyes as he kept looking at him.

— Mark, I.. I think I like you. — He mumbled, out of nowhere, making both himself and Mark not able to breathe properly. And just when Mark was finally about to say something, Donghyuck lifted his hand, took a deep breath and spoke again. — No, wait. I like you. I like you more than just a friend, I like you more than I'm supposed to. I'm in love with your smile, with your goofy laugh, with the way you pat my hair, how you wrinkle your nose, I- —And it was then, Donghyuck heart was about to stop, yet started to beat fast as never before.

The whole evening, he was freezing, but didn't want to ruin their meeting by turning back: at that moment, he forgot what cold even feels like. Just then, he felt Mark's soft lips against his own. So soft and gentle, but at the same time so passionate, he just let Mark kiss him, he wasn't able to even move himself. He would never imagine Mark to actually kiss him, even though he wondered how kissing Mark would be like for at least ten times a day; that's why at this moment he wasn't even sure if this was happening for real or was he imagining things again. But by every next second, the more he started enjoying the kiss the more he became sure that shit, this is happening. And so here they were; sitting on a bench, in the middle of the night, no one else but them, Mark holding his hand and slowly kissing him, enjoying every second and movement. Donghyuck felt how he was about to fall and how those butterflies filled his whole body. Mark surely felt the same, how much courage did he have to gather in himself to make such a move? It wasn't just a short, little kiss. It lasted longer than expected, but none of them wanted it to stop. And when Mark lifted his lips up just a bit, Donghyuck just reached for them again, wrapping his hands around the latter's neck, because he just didn't want those soft lips of Mark's to go away like this. Their kiss, even if it was long, wasn't sloppy or dirty. It was just perfect, like they both longed after it for such long time. Mark smelt and tasted to amazing, it drove Donghyuck crazy, but it was him to break and end the kiss. He just slowly pulled himself away, but only a half inch, feeling Mark's heavy breath and thank god it was dark enough for Donghyuck not seeing this satisfied smirk on Mark's lips, and for Mark not seeing Donghyuck's red and embarrassed face with sparkling eyes and puffy mouth, that secretly still hasn't had enough.

— I'm in love with you too, princess. To the point,  that it drives me crazy, when I don't get any messages from you, when I don't see you smile or laugh.. — Mark whispered, when the boy still hadn't let go of him and just sat there and looked at him. — I will make sure, that this scene will have a comeback someday. — He spoke slowly and softly, sending shivers all over Donghyuck's body.

— M-Mark.. I don't want our friendship to be over.. I just.. — He couldn't say anything else, because Mark closed the gap between them and making him breathless yet again this night.

— It won't end, you dummy. It's just the end of the beginning. We may have started a new chapter of our relationship, just now. — Mark smiled softly in between the kiss, making them both chuckle and giggle.

If you wonder what happened next, I won't tell you. That chapter is already closed, and only Mark and Donghyuck have a key to it. But if you really want to know, I can only tell you, that Donghyuck brought up that mischievous kiss from the sleepover, what only made Mark kiss him again. And of course; he received the chocolate, but little did Mark know, that the lady put a note in them, that said "I love you".

Well, if Donghyuck's heart was a person, it would be running around and screaming at the top of its lungs, both of excitement and happiness. Because, how often does the person you randomly meet online become your soon-to-be-or-maybe-already-being-boyfriend? Their story was unique, like no one else's before. They became friend, just through an app. Mark came to Korea, left everything behind him, just to meet Donghyuck in person. Their relationship, like a little flowerbud, started blossoming in them, and neither of them noticed when they became each other's stars.
And everything started with a request.

Hello!~
I'm so thankful for everyone, who was following the story to the end. Yeah, I think this is an official end of the Request.. Mostly because I'm not good at writing romantic stories; this one took me forever to write;; And it's not even good; I don't know why I put the chocolate and the start part in here, it doesn't make a lot is sense, but I just didn't want it to be too short;;
But yeah, thank you so much for reading this and for the support!
I may start a new story, with a short chapters like these ones, but it'll be a little different! So, look forward to it!
I love you guys;w; 💕
