Ding dong.
Oops. I hadnt told Chelsea not to ring the doorbell. I ran downstairs and opened the door to see my friend standing there in shorts and a bikini top. I was about to walk out the door when I remembered, "Hold on... I forgot my sunglasses."
Running back upstairs, I grabbed my sunglasses off my dresser and hurried back to Chels.
"Wow. Not even going to invite me in."
She gave me a pointed look, but I just shrugged, trying to hurry. And then my mom came in.
"Okay, Chelsea. Lets go." I said, quickly ushering her out the door. Glancing back at my mom, I saw a disapproving look on her face and her hands on her hips.
"Reyna? Where are you going?"
"Be back later. Bye."
Okay, so that was a very small excerpt from chapter five. Why is it so small? Why haven't I updated? Well, I'm going on a hiatus for this particular book. I'm trying to plan it out and running into some major road blocks.
I am, however, starting another book, 'The Life of an Army Brat.' The first chapter, I'm hoping, will be published by next weekend. Also, I'm finally starting to get somewhere with 'Perfect Imperfections' so expect more chapters from that. Sorry to ramble.
