Chapter 14: Close To The Truth

"I will help you Ciel" Replied Cherry as she gave him a small adorable smile.

"Do not be worried about this Cherry... I will not let you go alone I and Sebastian will be close by" Said Ciel as he walked closer to Cherry, noticing she had become slightly tense.

"Alright" Replied Cherry as she placed both of her hands in front of her and gave Ciel a slight nod.

"Trust me when I tell you this... I would never let anything happen to you" Ciel whispered into Cherry's ear as he gently interlocked fingers with her.

Cherry gave Ciel a closed eye smile, starting to feel better about agreeing to something that could end her life completely. Softly she gave him a kiss on the cheek, which made Ciel's cheeks flush a light shade of pink.

Suddenly there was a knock at the study door.

"Master the evening meal is ready" Said Sebastian through the door, with his classic smile plastered on his face.

"Alright Thank you Sebastian" Replied Ciel as he softly grabbed Cherry's hand and walked towards the door.

Both of them walked out of the study, then the three of them walked towards the dining room. Ciel and Cherry had a further conversation about the plan to catch Jack The Ripper. She felt more comfortable knowing she would be as safe as possible. Once the meal was finished Cherry went back to her room with Ciel.

"I think I will get some rest for tomorrow" Said Cherry as she looked to her side at Ciel.

"That is fine my dear" Replied Ciel as he gave Cherry a small smile.

"Care to join me?" Said Cherry as a smirk grew on her face, then she gave Ciel a quick kiss on the cheek.

"If you wish" Replied Ciel as he quickly grabbed Cherry's waist and pulled her closer to him.

Cherry giggled slightly and placed her hands on Ciel's shoulder. Both of them gazed into each other's eyes almost getting lost. Slowly Cherry slipped her arms around Ciel's neck and pulled her face closer to him, quickly he closed the gap between them and gave Cherry a passionate kiss. After a few moments the pulled out of the kiss and Cherry walked over towards her wardrobe. Ciel glanced over at her taking her dress off, a deep blushed covered his face. Gracefully she swept her hair from her back to the front. Ciel was still looking over at her, his face becoming brighter and brighter. Suddenly he noticed something on Cherry's shoulder.

"Cherry... what's that on your shoulder?" Said Ciel as he started to walk towards Cherry trying to get a better look at the mark.

Cherry looked over at her shoulder at Ciel, with a surprised expression on her face.

"Wha... what?" Stuttered Cherry, scared as she never noticed anything on her back before.

Ciel walked right up to Cherry and gently grazed his silk glove over the mark on her shoulder. Cherry shuddered slightly and the cold touch of his glove. He looked closer at the mark on her shoulder and worked out what it was.

"Ciel... wha..what... is it?" Stuttered Cherry, becoming concerned about what the mark was on her shoulder.

"It is nothing to worry about Cherry... but this is the clue we need to find your family" Replied Ciel as he placed his hand on her shoulders and gave her a small kiss on the cheek from behind her.

"What is it Ciel?" Said Cherry as she looked over her shoulder at Ciel.

"It is the Crest of a Noble Family" Replied Ciel as a smile formed on his face as he gently slid his hands around her waist and pulled her backwards so she was resting against his chest.
