cry

One does not care
About those who weep
For the sake of weeping

But about those who
Usually laugh only for
The sake of laughing
Starting to cry

Because if smiles are
The only thing thy wears
Then once the smile falters
Thee will falter, too

Imaging the brightest star
Dulling
Or the loudest person
Whispering

Would you not be scared?
'Twas my first thought
Once I saw her crying

She sobbed solemnly and silently
I was igniting infinite fires in my mind
For whoever made the happiest sad
Was sad thyself.

I care about the person who weeps
Wherever they went, like waves of water
Down a slippery slide soaking their face

For whomever cries must learn how to smile
And whomever smiles must cry
