I woke up with my head on Krissy's stomach, tears staining my face, and drooling on Krissy's shirt. I shook her shoulders to wake her up. After a couple minutes of trying I saw that it was no use. I got up and looked in her mirror. My un-combed hair was all over the place and my cheeks were red and puffy from crying. I quickly pulled a brush through my ratty hair and made my way to Chrissy's bathroom. I splashed some water on my face, found my toothbrush, and started scrubbing.

I felt sick to my stomach from crying myself to sleep, so I made my way down to the kitchen to find my second mom.

"Hey sweetie, I'm making pancakes, how many?" She said in a sweet tone.

"Two please, and and an Advil." I said as I poured both of us a glass of milk.

"Are you feeling alright? Is everything okay?" She asked with concern.

"Yeah, I just have a little headache, that's all." I lied. Mrs. Lovelace always knew what to do to make me feel better. She really was like my own second mom, and recently she had been acting better than my real mom. She handed me the pills and my pancakes. A few minutes later she had laid out two strips of chewy bacon made just how I liked it. Eating surprisingly calmed my stomach down quite a bit.

I had already finished my first pancake when Krissy came down with her hair brushed and her make up from the night before washed off. I didn't wear make up so that necessarily wasn't a problem for me.

"Oh my God, thank you mom! I'll have seven." You might think she was exaggerating, but she wasn't. This vegetarian could eat her weight in pancakes any day. After she was finally done stuffing her face, she got dressed and drove me to my house. Since my birthday is in January, I wouldn't have my licence till July. So, being the loser I am, I have to let my friends drive me around everywhere for the time being.

I had been checking my phone all morning and there was still no call. I tried shaking it off and focusing on the music blaring through Krissy's loud radio. After a ten minute drive we were at my house. We made our way up to the door and I was surprised to see the door was unlocked. My mom should have been at work and no one else lives here. Cautiously, I opened the door and looked inside our living room.

"Hey dork, there is a present for you in your room." My brother Jordan. He's a freshman in college and must have just came home yesterday.

"Good to see you too, bro." I said back to him. I went over to him and gave him a hug.

"I love presents!" Krissy yelled while sprinting up the stairs to my room. I rolled my eyes at her and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. Knowing Jordan it was probably just a dumb prank gift. When I walked back into the living room Krissy was already back downstairs with a dumb smile plastered on her face.

"You'd better go check out your 'present' on your own." She said to me with a smirk. She went over and started playing video games with my brother who was practically the brother she had never had, while I made my way up the stairs. I had no clue what this stupid present could be, but I was quite curious.

I made my way down the long hallway to my bedroom and saw my 'present' as soon as I opened the door.

"I'm so sorry." Aaron and I said at the same time. He must have been the 'present' that was waiting for me.

"No, I'm sorry. I never should have said what I said to you. You didn't deserve it. There is a great chance of Tyler liking you because you're the greatest girl I know. Any guy would be lucky to have you, honestly! And if you want to date Tyler then I am in no place to tell you that you can't. Even though I think he doesn't come close to deserving a girl like you." He blurted out with an apologetic look on his face.

"No, I'm sorry. I should have just listened to you, since you were probably right. I know you were just trying to look out for me, and even though I'm perfectly capable of handling myself with guys, I appreciate you always being here for me. It really does mean a lot." I went over to him and threw my arms around him like I had done so many times before.

"You had me worried sick! I thought I was going to lose you forever. Even if we are fighting, don't you ever ignore my phone calls like that! I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I'd ever lose you!" I said this with my face right next to his ear, and tears were stinging my eyes. I wouldn't let them fall though, I try to never let people see me cry. I hate it! Even if it's Aaron who has seen me at my complete worst.

He pulled away and looked at me with those big blue eyes that felt so familiar. "Maggie, please do not cry. I already feel bad enough for making you so worried about me and hurting your feelings. I can't take seeing you upset, especially if I'm the reason." Worry was written all over his face and I couldn't help but grin at it. "There is that smile I love to see!" I laughed at him and pulled him down the stairs with me. When Krissy saw us her face immediately broke out in a huge smile.

"Yay! We all made up, group hug!!" Krissy yelled as she pulled us into a bear hug. I tried to escape hear death grasp while laughing at her loveable-ness. She was quite the hugger.

"Let's go to the kitchen and plan out the rest of our summer. This is the first summer we can acctually drive, exept you Maggie, so let's spend our time wisely!" Aaron said as we marched into the kitchen. I ignored his taunting side-comment.

"Well I don't know if you want to come, but Maggie and I are going to see Magic Mike tonight." Krissy proclaimed to Aaron. I wasn't aware we were going, but I was completely fine with it. Channing Tatum stripping was always fine by me. Really fine.

"Sure I'll go see it, I mean, why not? There will be a lot of hot girls trying to confess their love for Channing Tatum, and at the end of the movie, they will just have to settle for the next best, almost better, option. Me." Aaron said with a smirk.

"Well they are going to have to fight me for him. Channing Tatum is my husband, you know. He just doesn't know it yet." They both laughed at my comment as I went to go grab a sheet of paper and a pen.

"We are going to Cedar Point June 23rd, driving down to Panama City with my brother July 8th through July 13th, and fair is the last week of July." I stated. We got to work and quickly began writing down our ideas. This was easily going to be the best summer yet. No one was going to mess this up!
