No one's POV

The battle began with bloodshed. Percy was dazed, looking at the arrow that stopped right in front of his heart. Glancing sideways, he saw Victoria with a vicious look on her face, her hand raised in his direction and a wall of silver/gold magic in front of him. Loki and Steve flanked him, both in defensive positions as they faced off against Tartarus' army; Loki had let down his glamour, focussing fully on his fight.

"Percy, focus!" Victoria yelled, slashing through some shadowy creatures. Her sword, named Severance, gleamed in darkness of the Underworld. She spun, taking out the two figures beside her as well as the enemy behind. Percy shook his head and pulled out Riptide, getting back into the battle.

"Legions!" Percy looked up to see Reyna leading the Roman Demigods into the fray.

"Alright, you cupcakes! You betted turn tail to your master or face the wrath of my hooves!" Coach Hedge yelled, looking like the pissed off satyr he was.

"Demigods! Let's do this Greek style!" Clarisse yelled. Turning to the enemy she continued, a nasty snarl/smirk on her face. "Y'all about to get your taints handed to you!" Before charging into battle with the rest of the house of Ares.

The sky darkened for a moment and the Avengers looked up in time to see a flying ship with a dragon head at the bow, breathing fire down on the enemies.

"Now, this party isn't complete with a little py-ro-man-cy!" Leo called out, an impish grin on his face as he shot fire ball after fire ball at the enemy. Piper and Jason flew down off the deck to join the fight; the power couple dancing around each other fluidly, taking down their attackers with ease.

"Perseus, are these your brethren?" Thor yelled to him, bringing Percy put of his surprise. The demigod yelled back his response.

He smiled. They actually showed up. Then he frowned, looking around.....

Tartarus was nowhere in sight.

He who rules the deep
Shall rise from his slumbering keep.
With a bloodlust that hasn't been slaked,
The future of many is at stake.

Percy was the first one inside of the mountain. The floor beneath him pulsed with a dull red light, the walls were oil black and seemed to go on for miles; the glow of Riptide was the only real light source he had.

"So, you've finally joined me." Tartarus said, voice reverberating throughout the dark room. A snapping noise, and then torches lit up the space. Tartarus stood in front of his throne, hands clasped behind his back. His smile held too many teeth and his eyes narrowed at the sight of Percy's sword.

"In this room, yes." Percy responded, twirling his sword as he circled the Primordial.

Tartarus chuckled, "Oh, I'm very certain you'll join me in more than just this room." Percy felt a shiver of disgust run through him.

"Uh, yeah, no thanks, dude. Hard pass." Percy replied, grimacing. Tartarus laughed again.

"We'll see now, won't we?" Tartarus grin was sharp with displeasure and wickedness as he, too, circled the demigod. They faced off against each other for several minutes, each waiting for the other to attack, taking in each other's weaknesses.

Suddenly, they both struck.
