Stiles POV

~Agent Stilinski, Mr. Stark is requesting entry to your rooms~ Jarvis announced. I shoved the last of my clothes in my duffle, zipping it up as I answered.

"Thank you JARVIS; you can send him in," I replied as I walked back into my closet and pulled out several cases and set them on the bed. The billionaire walked into the room, looking his usual cocky self. He looked at the bed and then at me packing and sat down.

"Leaving so soon?" He asked, leaning his forearms against his knees.

I un-clipped one of my favorite rifles- an Istiglal Anti-Material Rifle- and pulled it out of its case. "I was ordered to take a vacation under Director Fury's orders, Stark." I lifted the sleek gun and pointed it at him, looking at his slightly nervous expression through the scope. "Shouldn't you be bothering Percy right now? Or Victoria?"

He let out a shaky breath as I put it back. "I would be, but Percy is visiting his mom, Vee is in the middle of meditation and the last time I bugged her during meditation, she hung me by my ankles and made me unable to speak while she finished. So, where're you going?" Tony fell back against the bed, his arms pillowing his head. "

I put the rifle back and looked at him, giving him a brief once over. "Apparently, I'm going back home, as per orders." I replied, opening the next case and pulling out dual Berettas, un-clipping the magazine and checking the count, before pushing it back into the pistol. I packed them back in their box.

"To California? I thought you weren't going back there, like ever." He said in confusion. He looked up at me and frowned.

I sighed, increasingly getting overwhelmed by the situation. I didn't want to go back there, ever. It wasn't home anymore. It was a hellhole that swallows up people and I couldn't handle the people, especially after what happened with the Alpha Pack.

"I wasn't planning on it, but when the man who writes my checks tells me, I have to go, then I have to go. I'm under Fury's command, just like every other S.H.I.E.L.D agent." I answered, putting the gun cases into a large army duffle, along with a few other items, such as brass-knuckle blades, my favorite knife- a V-42 Stiletto, worn via thigh strap- matching wrist lasers- courtesy of Tony- and finally an aluminum baseball bat reinforced with adamantium and mountain ash.

"Do S.H.I.E.L.D agents always pack an arsenal?" Bruce asked, leaning against the doorway with Natasha and Clint hovering next to him.

I smirked. "It's Beacon Hills, Doctor, everyone needs an arsenal there."

Clint smiled. "Yeah, especially since Beacon Hills is practically a hellmouth."

I clapped my hands and gestured to him. "Thank you, finally someone agrees with me." I grabbed my laptop and stuffed it into my backpack, along with some other S.H.I.E.L.D standardized equipment; can never be too careful. A vacation wasn't the only thing Fury had in mind- there was also some alien activity showing up near there and with my history in Beacon Hills.... I was essentially the best person for the job.

"When's your flight?" Natasha asked me, crossing her arms as I finished packing.

"As soon as I'm done, I'm taking one of the jets." I answered, double checking everything. "Hoping to get there before anyone, especially the Sheriff, notices. I don't need to run into anyone I've known just yet." Natasha nodded, empathetically.

"A sheriff? What is this... the 19th century?" Tony huffed, sitting up.

~Mr. Stilinski, your ride is here to take you to the airport.~ Jarvis announced.

"Thank you Jarvis." I replied, and turned to part of my family. I don't even know when they had become my family.

"It's going to be lonely around here without your constant talking monologues, Red." Clint said, slinging an arm around my shoulders.

"I'll miss you guys too, Katniss." I said, nudging him in the ribs with my elbow. He chuckled and pulled away. I turned to Tony and smirked. "If I come back and find this place in ruins, I won't keep Natasha from locking you out of the tower, you hear me, you Batman Wanna-be?"

Tony gave me a faux incredulous expression. "How dare you compare me to that ... that...Overdressed vigilante!" He sniffed indignantly. "Besides, if anyone was going to destroy this building, it would be Loki and Thor."

I chuckled and clapped him on the back. "I'll be keeping an eye on you, Stark. Of course, it'll be through Clint and Natasha and quite possibly Bruce as well, and if I hear even the slightest hint of you getting into trouble, or let's say, make an unknown but incredibly powerful villain angry enough to blow up you and your house- I will fly back and toss your ass through a portal."

"I'll even assist him," Loki said, appearing in the room like the stalker he was.

"You know I'll be there with a bowl of popcorn and a video camera ready." Natasha commented, smirking at Tony smugly.

"I feel attacked and slightly betrayed by all of you." Tony replied, a faux hurt expression on his face. "I should evict all of you."

"But you won't, Stark, so don't even threaten it," I said. "Besides, you'd miss us."

Yeah, I wouldn't trade these guys for anything in the known multiverses.

When all the goodbyes were done, thy followed me down to the car and helped me load my things into it.

"You'll be careful while you're there, right?" Clint said, leaning into the window. Natasha was besides him.

"Don't do anything we wouldn't and definitely don't do anything Tony would." She said, giving me a small smile. These two were the siblings I wish I had, and probably the ones that I would miss the most. But, don't tell Tony that, he'd probably lock me out of things in the tower until I admitted otherwise.

"That's quite the group you hang out with, Agent Stilinski," The driver commented. I met his eyes in the rear-view mirror and gaped.

"You're supposed to be dead!" I replied, staring at the confirmed dead agent. Phillip Coulson, though I really only know him from his files and what he others had told me about him.

Coulson gave a bland smile. "The DNA you brought back with you from the mission in Kyoto was put to good use after Fury 'resurrected' me."

I furrowed my brow. "So, you're a...?" He flashed his eyes at me; burnt orange eyes flashed in the mirror.

I smirked. "Well, I'll be damned."

Coulson smiled and told me how they pulled it off; so far, besides me, only Bruce and Fury know about him being alive. He also told me about the new division S.H.I.E.L.D was creating, solely for the purpose of keeping track of supernaturals and mutants alike.

By the time, we got to the airstrip, I was up-to-date on Fury's doings for the past couple of weeks, while I had been off on missions and with the Avengers; taking care of international threats like, The Mandarin, and the Dark Elves that decided to portal down here for Thor and Jane. Yeah, that was a shit show.

"Stay safe and let us know if you need any backup, Agent Stilinski." Coulson said, bringing me the last of my bags into the quinjet.

"Will do, Agent Coulson. I'm sure S.H.I.E.L.D will also be in touch." I said, buckling into the pilot seat. I waved to him as I put in my ear piece. "After all, they see everything."

Coulson gave me a half smile and waved back; his figure disappearing as the hatch closed.

It was time to face my demons.
