Six Months Later/ No One's POV"Percy, dude, you should get your head checked, I definitely won that game." Clint said, knocking shoulders with the younger man.
"No way, Hawk, I fucking bowled a 210, you had a 190." Percy said, punching the archer on the shoulder.
"Um, guys, Cap beat you both by a hundred points." Tony pointed out as they entered the common area.
Despite the almost anticlimactic way Tartarus went out, it left the Avenger and Percy with a lot of deep scars, mentally and physically, but they helped each other out. In the six months that they have been healing, all of them, even Loki and Thor, were sent to a S.H.I.E.L.D hired therapist and sent to Professor Xavier- which at first freaked Percy out, cause like Mutants? Why had he never heard of them? Did the gods know?- but Professor X was nice and so the team set up weekly visitations with him and the therapist. However, the world outside was also suspiciously quiet.
Which brings us to now:
"Tony leave me out of this, please." Steve groaned, collapsing onto the couch in a heap of limbs.
"I believe that I beat you all in this 'bowling' as you called it." Thor said, smirking at the group.
"Yeah, well, you can't always beat a god on a physical level. Speaking of which, Tony's going to have to write a check for that bowling alley, what with all the holes you put into it, big guy." Bruce commented, smiling lightly as Natasha sat down next to him and Clint next to her.
~Sir?~ Jarvis spoke up, his tone a bit hesitant.
"Jarvis?" Tony responded, grabbing a few beers from the fridge for everyone.
~There seems to be an intruder in your lab. They just appeared out of a portal, I believe.~ Jarvis informed, causing the group to immediately jump to their feet.
"Jarvis, buddy, lock down mode. Including the barrier." Tony said, calling his suit to him. Steve grabbed his shield, Thor already had his hammer in hand, Percy had his sword uncapped and Natasha and Loki had daggers. The only one without weapons were Bruce and Clint, who were pretty content leaving the others to take care of the problem. They grabbed a beer, well Clint grabbed a beer, Bruce grabbed some green tea, and went back to the sofa to watch the throwdown.
Tony was the first one to the glass door; almost immediately, his hands had flown over the keypad and he stepped into the lab, his blaster aimed at the intruder. It was a boy, or rather, a younger man. He had tawny hair that was mussed up, mole freckled, pale skin, amber eyes, an upturned nose and was covered in runic tattoos. His red hoodie was torn and his jeans and converse were covered in dried blood. Tony could feel the others coming up behind him.
"Alright, kid, I'm going to say this one time and one time only: Who are you and how did you get in here?" Tony asked, giving the man another once over.
The man did a fabulous impression of a deer in headlights, holding up his dirty hands in surrender. "Holy shit, I didn't know I would appear here, I swear!" He rambled out, eyes darting between everyone as he started jittering. "Look, I'm about to pass out from lack of adrenalin and you guys pointing sharp and dangerous weapons at me, isn't helping. Can we sit? Can I sit? I'm going to sit."
He collapsed onto Tony's stool and rubbed his face.
Percy cocked his head. "You look like shit, are you okay, dude?"
The guy looked up at Percy and shook his head. "No, no, I'm not. I'm soooo far from alright. Look," he gestured to himself. "I was sent here by some ladies after a fight with a werewolf pack, okay? I was basically kicked out and I can't even remember if anyone made it out alright. I'm freaking out just a bit."
