Paige's P.O.V.
"Hey mama," Paige remarked when she entered Demi's room the next morning.
"Hey, good morning. So, you are meeting my girlfriend, Naya, today. I hope that's okay with you. She has been away filming and comes home today, I just wanted you to get used to me and being here before I introduced you to her too. I hope you're okay with all of this." Demi rambled, sounding somewhat nervous for Paige's reaction. Paige nodded with a smile on her face and gave Demi a hug before running to her room to find the perfect outfit to wear for the day. After a few minutes Paige came out of her room wearing a loose fitting floral tee-shirt with coral pink shorts and white sandals, her hair in pigtail buns.
"You look adorable. Do you have any questions before she gets here," Demi questioned while Paige followed her down the stairs and to the kitchen.
Paige pondered for a moment before rambling out,"What's she like? Are you gonna marry her? Will she be like my second mom?" Demi laughed and then started to answer her questions.
"Well, she is kinda perfect, at least to me. She can be shy and is definitely one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Yes, I have an engagement ring already, I just don't know when or how to give it to her. And as for being your mom, I know she would be honored."
Paige decided to make bracelets with her rainbow loom kit while Demi cooked breakfast.
"Mama, what are Naya's favorite colors," Paige asked as she watched Demi flip the two pancakes on the stove.
"Red and purple, if you are making her a bracelet you will have a new best friend," Demi replied, internally jumping for joy that Paige was already in love with Naya and hadn't even met her yet. Demi heard a knock on the door and went to answer it while Paige stayed in the kitchen.
"Hey baby," Demi smiled as they leaned into each other for a long awaited kiss.
"Hey. Oh my gosh, I am so excited! Where is she?" Naya asked, excitement etched into all of her features.
Demi lead Naya to Paige in the kitchen and responded, "In here, she is already obsessed with you."
"Paige, this is Naya and Naya this is Paige," Demi announced while looking back and forth between her daughter and girlfriend. Paige walked over to Naya as Naya greeted her.
"Nice to meet you, sweetie," Naya chirped as Paige stared at the floor, suddenly more nervous than she had been all morning.
"Here, I made this for you. I hope you like it," Paige mumbled softly while handing Naya the bracelet that she had been working on earlier. Naya wrapped Paige in a hug, hoping to get her to relax some and not be so nervous around her.
"Hey, Paige I forgot to tell you earlier but Naya lives here too." Demi remarked watching Paige's face contort into a smile.
"I'm guessing that's a good thing then," Naya commented while Paige went to hug her, making Naya relax more now that Paige seemed to be getting more comfortable with her around.
"What are we doing today," Paige questioned, wanting to get out of the house.
"How about a shopping spree,"Demi suggested while looking between the girls who both smiled and nodded in agreement. The girls drove to the nearest mall and went into almost every store and left a few hours later with a huge pile of bags filled with clothes. Once the car was loaded Demi and Naya sat up front and talked on the drive home when they realized Paige was unusally quiet in the backseat. Naya looked back and smiled when she realized Paige was leaning against the window and was peacefully asleep.
