Your Promise [Namjin + Taejin]

Namjoon watched as Seokjin walked away. He didn't move, he didn't chase after him. He let him go.

Namjoon has been dating Seokjin for a year now, but 7 months in, he started dating Jungkook in secret, At first, Jungkook went against the idea of him cheating on Seokjin but he insisted that he will break up with Seokjin and lied to the maknae that he was no longer with him after a few days which caused Jungkook to agree with it.

Seokjin will shrug it off everytime Namjoon loses affection for him, thinking he might be busy or have too much in mind. He never thought that the affection was going to someone else, because he believed Namjoon's promise. "I will love only you hyung, I promise"

He was foolish to do so, he felt his world come crashing down when he witnessed Namjoon kissing Jungkook yet he refused to stop them, he didn't want to tell anyone about it, he knew that one word to his members, they'd all have his back and wouldn't even hesitate to disobey their leader. Seokjin didn't want that, he didn't want their career to experience complications just because of their cheating leader.

As a result, he kept his mouth shut but he wasn't as close to Namjoon anymore. You'd be able to see him with everyone, even Jungkook, just never with Namjoon unless it was really needed.

One day, Namjoon decided to ask him about it, hiding his anger and jealousy with the thought that he didn't have the right to get mad at Seokjin because in a way, he was doing something that he shouldn't be, even if the older didn't know.

But that wasn't the case....

"Hyung...something wrong? Why are you ignoring me?" Namjoon asked calmly and waited for a response, instead of words, he got a slap from the older.

"What the--?!" Namjoon touched his cheek and glared at Seokjin who had tears brimming his eyes. "You deserve that...after cheating on me? I gave you everything..I gave you affection even if you didn't give me any because all of your affection was being given to Jeon Jungkook!"

"I didn't ask you...to give me any affection" Seokjin's eyes widended from the words that left Namjoon's mouth. "How dare you! You promised me! You said you'd only love me! I believed you!"

Namjoon looked away and crossed his arms, "I guess promises are truly meant to be broken, hyung I'm sorry but I don't feel the connection with you anymore"

"Of course you don't because you got rid of it yourself damn it! You could've told me! I'd understand! It'll hurt less" Namjoon looked at the older with disinterest and simply nodded, not even a bit of guilt or regret was felt.

Namjoon watched as Seokjin walked away. He didn't move, he didn't chase after him. He let him go.

Months passed and Namjoon was left without a lover. Jungkook broke up with him, refusing to continue once Seokjin told them about what he has done, also because of how he felt betrayed when he found out that he lied to him and his hyung that he cared so much about. Jungkook was living happily with Jimin and felt genuine love, something Namjoon has never given him.

Yoongi ended up with Hoseok, the two has never talked directly to Namjoon ever since, only for work or their career, not like before where you can find them hanging out with each other. Yoongi hated Namjoon the most for hurting his roommate,the last words he told Namjoon was "You're lucky that murder is a crime, if it wasn't, you'd be dead by now"

Taehyung claimed Seokjin as his and gave his everything to restore Seokjin's happiness. The couple was the only one announced publicly and they went viral after that, despite having hate comments, they were supported by a lot of people. Seokjin felt at ease whenever he was with Taehyung, he felt complete.

Namjoon had no one, his six friends no longer talked to him, his boyfriend who he missed so much. It took him months to feel regretful and it took for him to hurt Seokjin and for the older to walk away before he felt his undying love for him.

But he couldn't do anything anymore, he let him go and he can't have him back.
