I'll Try, Even For Just Awhile

"Hey hyung"

Seokjin turned around and faced his lover who just woke up, giving him a smile, happy that his lover woke up as soon as he walked into the room. His lover still had his eyes slightly closed but he still returned the smile slightly. "You should wake up now, rehearsals are about to start" Seokjin said and walked towards his lover, planting a kiss on his forehead, his lover let out a low chuckle and moved to the edge of the bed to stand up, once he did, he went to Seokjin and kissed him on the cheek before going to the bathroom to prepare.

It didn't take too long before his lover went out and went downstairs. "Where are the others?" his lover asked and Seokjin chuckled. "They already left, it's nowhere near early you know" his lover rolled his eyes and sat down on the couch, "But it's also nowhere near late" Seokjin sighed in defeat and nodded his head in agreement.

"Will you still eat or should we just get going now?" Seokjin asked him, his lover looked up in thought and shook his head. "Not hungry so let's go, but how about you? Have you eaten already?" Seokjin smiled at him "I have, so no need to worry for me"

His lover stood up and smiled mockingly at him, "good, because I don't want you slacking off during rehearsals just because you're hungry" Seokjin hit him on the shoulder and pouted, "says you"

"And what does that suppose to mean?" His lover glared at him which didn't really do anything but make Seokjin laugh.

The two went out the dorm and walked with a slight distance between them because being an idol. a relationship should be hidden, always. Seokjin turned around when he heard a little girl call for him, forgetting that he was in the middle of the street.

He waved at the little girl and the calling of his name soon turned into a shout by his lover and his vision being blinded by the bright car lights. He waited for the impact but was instead met with a harsh fall to the floor, he sat up slowly, looking at the blood that trailed near him, following it with his gaze, he saw where it came from.

He stood up in a rush and ran to the body of his lover, kneeling down and carrying him in his arms. "Hey, hey, are you okay? Please tell me you're okay!" Seokjin shouted with tears streaming down his face, people started circling around them, cameras, wailing from fans and the distant sound of ambulances. 

"If you're okay, then I am too....this...this pain means nothing...if I see that you're fine....hyung....I love you" Seokjin shut his eyes tight and kisses his lover's forehead, "I love you too and I need you so please...please stay with me!" His lover let out a chuckle, his own tears falling from his eyes "I will....I'll try, even for just a short time"

The ambulance came and pulled Seokjin away, he watched as his lover was taken from him, he forced a smile when his lover smiled brokenly at him and with that, he watched as his lover was brought inside the ambulance and the doors shutting close, watching as it drove away with his dying lover inside, Seokjin hoped that he would see him again.

-10 Months Later

6 people watch the news as they prepare to leave, Seokjin in particular had his eyes glued to the screen as he saw his lover's name flash on the screen, that moment replaying in his head like it happened only yesterday.
