"He just ended it like that?"Heather asked the next morning at school.We were supposed to be eating breakfast, but I didn't really have an appetite."He said that he wanted me to be happy.I didn't need a guy who forgot meeting me."I replied."Maybe he just needs time?"Elizabeth suggested.I nodded, but didn't believe her."I should hurry and go,"I said as I stood up,"I need to go and talk to Mrs.Story about something."It may have been a lie, but I just wasn't ready to talk about him.Not yet.

"I heard that someone's going home in a week,"A nurse said as she checked the IV in my arm,"Are you excited?"I nodded, but couldn't bring myself to smile."I guess so."I replied.Truthfully, I just wanted Katie back.I had stayed up late last night with her and the star dreams on my mind.
