Ch.28

Katie's POV

I glared out the passengers side window of mom's car and

sighed."What are you thinking about?"Mom asked as she pulled into our driveway."N-nothing."I stammered as I unlocked my door and quickly ran into the house.I ran up the stairs and slowed to a walk as I passed Alex's room.The door was shut and I could hear him blasting Pierce The Veil.I slipped past to my room and collapsed on my bed, careful to avoid hitting my arm.I had to wear it in a brace for the next six weeks.I really didn't want to, but I closed my eyes and recounted the events of my day.

1.) Jordan was coming home Monday.

2.)I had been jumped and it was probably by my own brother.

I fell into a very uneasy sleep that night.

Jordan's POV

I was still shocked that Katie thought Alex would hurt her.He acted like the overly protective big brother who would do whatever his little sister wanted.Katie had to know how much Alex loved her, so why did she think it was him?
