Jimin sighed, and slumped his shoulders, turning back around to head back into the pub. He headed straight to the bar and decided to just take a back seat for the rest of the night. Besides he was in no mood to be dancing and to deal with drunk people hitting on him. No matter how hot they were.
Jimin downed his sixth rum and coke. His head was starting to spin pleasantly. Now he was more determined to get drunk, before it was his goal to just forget about Yoongi and all his problems, but now after seeing him he wanted to wipe away the pain completely. He signalled the barman back and asked for four shots of tequila, Chulsoon grinned and started pouring them. The guy from before came back, but this time Jimin was in no mood to deal with him and his flirting. He leaned in towards Jimin and Jimin tried not to visibly back away.
"Hey, sexy, you alright?"
Jimin turned to face him, stumbling slightly. "Sure. I'm great. I'm awesome, fucking fantastic." He was only slightly aware of how all his words were slurring together, coming out of his mouth in a jumbled mess.
The man smiled slightly. "Maybe these better be your last drinks though, yeah? Don't want you wrecking your beautiful voice."
Jimin tried to stand up straighter. "Want, what you doing? You can't tell me what to do!... I don't even know you!" He descended into a fit of giggles. The man just shook his head slightly, probably from amusement.
"Listen, babe, you're trashed."
Jimin wagged a finger at him unsteadily. "No. No I'm not. I'm just... happy. Yeah." Despite this proclamation however, tears started leaking down his cheeks. He turned back to the bar, gulping down two tequila shots, gasping for breath as he finished each one.
The guy left, probably realising that he wasn't going to get anywhere with Jimin tonight, and went to find another person to hit on. Chulsoon was watching Jimin carefully out of the corner of his eye and decided to help him. He hung up his waist apron and grabbed his jacket, before turning to his fellow bartender who had joined him about an hour ago. "Hey, Rin, I'm gonna take Jimin here home, he's wasted. Do you think you can handle the rest of the night on your own?"
The female turned round and said "Yeah sure. I'll see you tomorrow!" Whilst handing an overflowing pint to a drunk customer.
"See ya!"
Jimin was nursing his fourth tequila, completely oblivious to the exchange happening between the two bartenders, tears falling from his eyes. Chulsoon sighed and put a comforting arm around the youngers shoulders.
"Come on, let's go outside for a bit, yeah? Get a bit of fresh air?" Slowly the stumbled through the crowded bar and outside onto the pavement. Jimin leant back against the wall of the building and started swaying back and forth still hearing the music pounding through the walls. Chulsoon chuckled at the sight and flicked Jimin on the head lightly. "You're trashed, Jimin."
Jimin just giggled in reply. "Can I tell you a secret, hyung?" He stumbled out.
"Sure, if you want to, but you're probably gonna regret telling me when you're sober."
Jimin shook his head rapidly. "Nah, nah, I won't... I won't..." he trailed off, and shocked Chulsoon a bit when more tears starting falling from his brown eyes. Immediately Chulsoon moved towards him, placing his hand on Jimin's left shoulder in comfort.
Jimin inhaled shakily before forming slurred words. "You'll never guess..." he muttered. "I just saw the fucking love of my life, and he ran away!"
Chulsoon was shocked, but not surprised. Jimin had never mentioned to him that he was infact gay, but more often that not he noticed Jimin staring at the men in his pub rather than the women every time he came to visit.
"He ran away?" Chulsoon asked.
"Just like that," Jimin stuttered. "Spilled his drink and then he ran."
"Hang - hang on a second. Spilled his drink? This isn't the guy in the pub is it?"
Jimin nodded once again, more tears finding their way down his plump cheeks. "My best friend, Yoongi hyung. He left me about two weeks ago because I did something horrible to him - I hurt him and I hate myself for it. He's such an amazing person, hyung. I've always been in love with him but I'm not very good at showing it. Then he ran away before I even got the chance to tell him!" Jimin dissolved into tears again. Chulsoon backed away and dialled a taxi on his mobile. Jimin was quite clearly drunk and upset, and as his hyung and friend, it was his job to help and comfort him.
He wandered back over after he made the call. "Taxi's gonna be about five minutes."
Jimin didn't answer. Then he peered up at Chulsoon through his lashes and tears. The elder looked down into Jimin's soft eyes, and smiled.
"You know what, Chulsooney."
Well that was a new nickname. "What?"
"You're - you're really good looking."
"Cheers." Said Chulsoon, striking a silly pose.
"No, no, no. I mean you're really good looking." And before he knew it, Chulsoon had Jimin's lips on his. It tasted strongly of alcohol, and Chulsoon detached himself as quickly as he could from the younger.
"Jimin, seriously, don't do this."
Jimin pouted like a baby, and Chulsoon knew he couldn't be mad at him.
"Why not?"
"Well for starters you're quite clearly drunk. And also you're in love with someone else, and he's a very lucky man."
"But - but he doesn't love me anymore." Jimin lunged himself at Chulsoon again, but Chulsoon managed to hold him away.
"Look, Jimin, you're a very lovely friend, and are very attractive. But...this isn't right. You're just going to regret it in the morning and you're not over Yoongi."
"Well Yoongi hyung is an idiot."
Chulsoon chuckled. "Well yes, maybe." He leaned forward and looked at Jimin closely. "But he's your idiot right?"
Jimin didn't answer. The taxi pulled up, and Chulsoon gently ushered his friend into it.
