Yoongi had mainly brought Jin hyung along with him for moral support and Seokjin, for his part, really wanted to see Jimin perform. They had found their way to the theatre where Jimin was performing quite easily.

When Jimin was announced, Yoongi sat up straighter, his eyes locked on the stage. And then Jimin appeared. His Jimin. He got into starting position, and once the music started through the speakers, danced gracefully and beautifully across the stage to the music. Yoongi noticed when Jimin's eyes made contact with his, and Yoongi gave him a nervous smile. Jimin's mouth almost dropped open. He held the gaze for a second or two, and then looked back down and continued his performance.

Yoongi watched Jimin closely. He noticed the small things - like the way Jimin's hair would sometimes fall into a messy curtain over his face. The way his eyes twinkled as he got more passionate, and the way his limbs moved effortlessly. And let's not get him started on the flicker of abs he saw when Jimin's shirt bunched up when he did certain moves. Yes, Yoongi had definitely missed him, and he was pretty sure that if anyone was too look at him now, instead of the angel on stage, they would notice the total love shining out of Yoongi's eyes, as he watched Jimin.

The performance finished, and Jimin pretty much ran off stage. Yoongi grabbed Jin and dragged him out of the hall and into a long corridor. They walked down it together, before Jin stopped them and turned Yoongi too face him.

"Yoongi, listen. I know this is gonna be hard for you. But you've got to do it. Okay? Otherwise you'll spend your life wishing you had." Yoongi nodded. "Even if he doesn't feel the same way, at least you'll have tried." Jin leant forward and gave Yoongi a small hug, squeezing his hand at the same time. It was weird, but oddly comforting.

Jin turned to walk up to Jimin to congratulate him on his dance, and Yoongi just hung back and watched. He caught a sight of the shiny hair, that was now blonde, being suffocated by their crazy friends. He then noticed Jimin slowly approaching him. Okay, this was it.

"Yoongi hyung?"

"Alright, Jiminie?" Yoongi muttered. "Um, great performance by the way. Really...breathtaking."

Jimin blushed. "Thank you, hyung."

Yoongi felt his own blush appear on his face. "No really, it was amazing. I haven't seen you dance like that in a long time. I've missed it... I've missed you." He trailed off. Jimin avoided eye contact and decided to stare blankly at the wall behind him. Yoongi swallowed. This wasn't how it was supposed to go at all.

Suddenly Jimin reached out to touch Yoongi's arm. "Listen, Hyung, I actually invited you here to tell you something important..."

Yoongi's breath caught in his throat, but he never got to hear what Jimin had to say, because a hyper Hoseok jumped on Jimin's back, nearly knocking all three of them over. Yoongi reach out to support the two youngers from landing on the floor and couldn't help but smile when Hoseok slung his arms around him too.

"Yoongi Hyung! I've missed you. I feel like it's been forever since we last saw you!" He had a large cheeky smile plastered on his face and Yoongi reluctantly hugged Hoseok back.

"Yeah. Hey Hoseok-ah."

Hoseok giggled and pecked them both sloppily on the cheek before their other friends came and joined them. They were all hyper and extremely noisy, but Yoongi would be lying if he said that he didn't miss it.

They carried on shouting and eventually decided that they should all go and to eat, to celebrate Jimin's wonderful performance. And as much as Yoongi wanted to protest and hear what Jimin was going to say, he just sighed and went along with the crowd. Jimin really did perform wonderfully tonight and he deserved to celebrate.

But as they were leaving, Yoongi could have sworn that a sad sigh left Jimin's pretty lips too.
