Chapter 2: The new friend.
Alex was so happy to see the mid day sun glistening on her skin, giving her a very satisfying warmth. She couldn't wait to go with her friends - away from her family- and also to spend some money! Just as she sat on the bus on her way to Jessica's she just realised that her phone was ringing.
" Hey! Why were you calling me for so long, I know were BFF's, but I need some space!" Said Alex trying to control her laughter.
" Not funny. At all. I just called to say I'm gonna have to say bye bye to our girls day out, sorry, I tried to tell you but... You know the rest!" Explained Jessica.
" Oh, I .. Um.. Ok. Have you told Anne?" Alex asked, hoping that Anne would at least come with her.
" Yeah, about that.. Erm.. Anne can't come either. What are the odds?" Giggled Jessica and then hung up.
Alex tried calling back, she thought that something as fishy, but then just decided to go alone. It was way better than going back home. As the bus stopped to pick up more people a very familiar person came and sat next to Alex.
" Oh no, no no no! It can't be Bella. Great. She is so annoying, please please don't recognise me.Please." Thought Alex, she tried to cover her face but Bella recognised her.
" Oh hi, I know you. Your in my class, I'm in your Spanish class, and English. Oh oh and in year 3 we were maths buddies. Remember!" Blabbed Bella, while Alex was trying to ignore her.
" Wow(!) I'm surprised that you remember, I knew who you where from the time I saw your face! Now can you leave me alone."
" Your amazing! Oh oh are you going to the shopping centre, here?" Asked Bella
" This is where this bus goes isn't it?! And by the way who says shopping centre?" Said Alex hoping that Bella was finished.
As soon as the bus stopped Alex ran for it. She was walking fast, not even daring to look back. When she entered the mall she slowed down and started shopping, just then she felt someone tap her shoulder. As Alex turned around she saw Bella!
" Hi.Again.You left your bag on the bus. Haha. So... Um here." She gave the bag to Alex and stared at her.
" Thanks? Uh.. I know I'm gonna regret this but want to shop with -"
" YES! I mean.. Yeah.. You know. Ok!" Bella yelled, and everyone stared, Alex laughed sheepishly and dragged Bella away. Even though Alex thought Bella was annoying she had a good sense of fashion, they both bought 3 dresses each and managed to fit a pair of jeans to their budget,as Bella was an extremely good bargainer.
" You know I miss judged you, Bella do you want to.. Hang out?"Asked Alex
" Wow, no one this popular has ever been my friend! Yes!" Said Bella smiling. After a while they grabbed a milkshake and went to another shop, Alex found the most prettiest top ever and she was just in luck because it was just her size and the last one which also left her with some spare money. As she went to grab it she felt someone else tug from the other side.
