Chapter 3: The bad luck

Alex tugged even harder and then heard some say ouch, it was a very familiar voice.

" Ouch, hey you I had this... First? Alex... Um.. Hi. It not like you think!" Said the person.

" How could you, this is your ex-" she got interrupted by another familiar person.

" I'm not taking the dress, it doesn't look nice. Maybe that dimwit Alex would.. What! What's wrong why are you star-"

She stopped as she saw Alex.

" I HATE BOTH OF YOU!! How could you Jessica and what were you saying Anne, I thought you were my friends. I shared my problems with both of you.. And here you two are back biting about me. Ditching me for your own personal time!" Alex screamed, she didn't care anymore if the people in the shop where looking.

"Yeah about that, we were going to tell you... But.. Now your hanging out with Bella! Haha that's too funny! Now we are kind of happy that we ditched YOU! Oh and as for the dress.. Its mine!" Said Jessica trying to take the dress from Alex's hand.

" Oh so you want this do you?" Asked Alex, looking evil and on the verge of crying, Jessica snatched the dress and sniggered. This made Alex so angry, just then Bella whispered something to Alex and Alex chucked her milkshake all of Jessica and the dress.

"Oh you can have it alright! Great. Now it looks just like YOU! Ugly and sloppy!" Whispered Alex just so that Jessica and Anne could hear. Anne was about to hit Alex when Bella pored her milkshake and hot dog on Anne.

"Why should you miss out as well?" Said Bella and grabbed Alex's wrist and ran because she saw that one of the staff was coming. From the corner of her eye Alex could see that Jessica was getting in a lot of trouble, which made her feel a bit better but not completely. How was she going to face everyone in school on Monday? Would they bully her then? There were so many questions in her head all at once. As they were walking past she saw this amazing glass turtle in an antique shop. She felt like the eyes glistened and that she knew the turtle, just then an old man came out and stared in awe.

" You, You are the chosen one. Finally after centuries we have found her!" Said the man looking a bit crazy.

Alex just slowly walked away as the man kept walking, her and Bella went home by bus. Alex got of first, when Alex got home she was tired and not at all hungry. She saw that her mum was serving food and that everyone was staring at her.

"Was it fun? I hope it was, come on sit down eat, I made-" said Linda, looking a bit more fresh than usual.

"Not hungry! I'm going to bed, I don't feel good." Interrupted Alex.

"So you ate and then came, I have told you so many times not to. What, was it Jessica who told you I thought that she was good!" Yelled her mum.

"So did I! I didn't eat. I'm not hungry ok !" Said Alex half way up the stairs when her mum yelled her name.

"You are lying I know you are ! That's it your grounded for a week! No more Jessica no more Anne for a week too!" Yelled Linda. Alex could take it anymore and she screamed and ran up and locked herself in her room and cryed, just the she saw the glass turtle sitting innocently on her bed.
