Amani's pov Ya ahmed disappeared the morning that was scheduled for our parents to meet kauthar' s parents we looked for him all over the house my father had almost ran out patience because he left his so called new wife alone and he needed to go back to her my mother suggested that I check the guest toilet and to my greatest surprise it was ahmed Umar . I quickly hugged my brother and said to him cold feet huh,?! He smiled and said " Amani I'm I ready for this I mean this is a huge step " Isn't it to early?!" Is this what she wants " Can in handle this I hugged my brother again and I said ahmed Umar do you love her?! Yes Amani I do very much " If you love her wife her " Now let's go before your darling father changes his mind . I escorted my father to car , and uncle faiz and Abba were also in the car while ya ahmed and uncle kabir were in the other car . I came in to the house and I met my mum on the dinning table taking a cold cup of juice .she smiled that at me and said Amani never Lower your standards for a man be you . I went into my room and I had a very long nap until I heard ya Ahmed's voice he was shouting my name and I quickly went down stairs I saw ya ahmed he was excited . " Amani you won't believe it I left this house a bachelor this morning and 4 hours later your big brother is now a husband " I looked in shock .until mama explained to me your brothers father in law decided that the marriage should hold today while the events are being put on hold . But then kauthar and ahmed said that they wouldn't want any event so your brother now has a wife I was excited about everything too. The place looked beautiful it wasn't a planned event but then we came through may Allah bless our parents for making the funds available. Kauthar arrived she wore pink dress nothing too serious but she looked beautiful she had this pale complexion she wasn't tall .but she had a beautiful body structure with her long hair falling on her back and my brother being the typical care free guy wore a black lumberjacks shirt he dressed casually can imagine who does that on their wedding. But my brother and his wife looked effortlessly beautiful. I mean this too we're in love it was just them against the world , we had a wonderful time and then me and my friends as usual we held a meeting as usual to laugh and gossip a bit . Haifa's baby bump was already showing , and we teased her about it she was so excited about being a mother , jasmine nagged about her wedding preparations about how hard she had been working on it ,and our darling Isabel brought her dear Jamal to us we met him for the first time , he is quiet I impressive I mean he was 6"2 he was quite muscular just as his girl described him too an extent he looked like Channing Tatum bug then. The problem was that I hope that he wasn't just planning with Isabel head because if seen guys like him before . Love Ahmed Xx I laughed because I know my mother wasn't going to find this funny I quickly went to the guest chalet and under the door mat I saw his car keys and I drove my self to the office I was singing in my head I was just excited for no reason until one reckless guy hit my car I went out to see how bad the car was damaged and boy was it bad my brothers bumper was damaged and the little brat driving recklessly casually jumped out of his Mercedes Benz cls 550 I was about to start ranting like a mad woman then he apologized and quickly called his mechanic who came in a minute and they gave him a rough estimate of 300 thousand naira. He apologized and gave me a ride to the office we exchanged numbers and he promised to send a car to come pick me from work by 4:30 sharp , he introduced his self as kabir and I got down from car as soon as we got to my office . I casually strolled into my office knowing that I was late and all eyes were on me I went straight to mr frayer's office just to find out he was out of town for official work I settled in and I was about to sit down but little did I know that Ed of admin has seen me he sent for me and there and then I was giving a resignation letter with immediate effect. I was so pained because he wouldn't even listen to me the man was a no nonsense man he was English and he a blunt human being he said that frayer had mentioned my habit of lateness and they couldn't tolerate that . I was so pained but there was nothing I could do the one day I decided to be early to work . Why must this happen I went home and I had a cold shower I tucked my self into bed until my phone rang and I woke up to pick it . Kabir:hi it's kBr from earlier today just wanted to tell you I am outside your office Amani :ohh well they would be no need I was fired this morning thanks anyways **i dropped the phone *** I immediately called my sister to tell her I had lost my job she couldn't hide her shock but then she told me to cool down that Allah had plan . I heard my mothers voice and I quickly went Downstairs to check on her I told her I was fired from my job she wasn't surprised but then she couldn't help it she was happy that I had seen the result of my i-don't-care-attitude. That's good for ya ahmed And that's good for me too atleast I have the 307 all too myself even though an upgrade wouldn't hurt I chukled I stayed with mama a bit and we spoke for a while till ya Abba came in with his own issues he bored us with cases that happened today in the hospital. Until I got a phone call and I stood up to go and answer phone call it was kabir from earlier on he called to inform me that he was outside and I went out I collected my car keys from him . He was so sorry for everything that and he had promised me that he would get me another job if I agree to go for dinner with him tomorrow. I quickly agreed toh minti nawa ne I thought to myself I went into the house with the car and my mother came out to inspect the car then suddenly I received a message from kabir from earlier . Kabir: hi Amani please are you going to be free around 11 o'clock tomorrow Amani:obviously I no longer have a job Kabir : I'd like you to help me out with something Amani : sure see you tomorrow
