Chapter 21- Dancing In The Moonlight

Eleanor's P.O.V

I woke up to my alarm at 3 am.

I know we've only been asleep for a few hours but were up at this time all the time when the boys are sleeping.

I crept down the stairs. This is the only way to get joe and dan up at 3 am!

I snuck into the kitchen and grabbed two pans. Then I filled two glasses with water. I took the pans upstairs and left them on the landing, then I went back down for the water.

"soph, harls!"I whispered shaking them. Good job there hard to wake up!

"yeah?" they asked, propping themselves up on their elbows.

"Id leave the room if I were you."

I guess they knew what I was going to do because they leapt up out of their beds and left through the door. I followed behind them and picked up my tools. I poured the water over their faces first, knowing that this would only make them turn over. I was correct. The boys turned over onto their fronts.

"time to bring out the big guns!!" I said, quietly. It was loud enough for harlow to hear though because the next thing I know the pans are being shoved into my hands.

"thanks!"

I flipped the lazy asses over and then started to bang the pans over their faces.

"aaaaaaah! I'm up! I'm up!" danny yelled.

"BLOODY HELL WHAT! OUCH!" joey screamed, rolling around on the floor covering his ears. I happily kept on clanking the pans together.

I put the pans on the ground and joey stood back up.

"you my friend, are an asshole." He said.

"thanks joe! Love you too budy!" I said. "NOW LETS FOOD!"

They all cheered when I said that.

"ill make it" soph said.

"no you wont, you do it every

time!"

"yes I-"

"NO!

im making it. Now go sit your ass down In the living room."

"fine!" she grumbled.

Soph walked into the living room and opened the curtains, then screamed, remembering that its 3am and were in Burnley, you never know who could be outside the house at this time, then closing them quickly.

"woops!!" she said.

"PANCAKES ANYONE?!?!" I yelled from the kitchen.

"ME!" Sophie yelled

"ME!" Harlow yelled

"ME!" Joey yelled

"ME!" Danny yelled

"RIGHT!" I shouted.

I pulled a chair up to the worktop and stood on it. I reached for the recipe that soph had written down for me a couple of years ago.

"right..." I said to myself, looking at the paper

Ingredients

-200g/7oz plain flour

-350-400ml/12-14fl oz milk, or ½ milk ½ water for a lighter pancake

-2 large eggs, lightly whisked

-1 tbsp vegetable oil

-pinch salt

-Vegetable oil for frying
