(Pixie's point of view)

I woke up a few minutes later.

Darkness also woke up then. "I can't believe we lost. They will never forgive us" Darkness said.

"Hey, Pixie you ok?" Loki asked as he stood not to far from me.

"I didn't think you would be worried" I asked.

"No one is heartless you know. Hey, your that girl I saw earlier, Darkness right?" Loki asked.

"Yeah. But Pixie we have to continue our battle. I can't lose. They wouldn't be happy with me if I did. I can't face them until I win" Darkness said.

"Then I'll join you guys. Don't worry I won't anyone touch you. I promise I'll protect you from any kind of danger" Loki smiled at Darkness.

Darkness blushed then and said "But we're on different teams and we're on opposite sides. Why would you want to help me?" Darkness asked.

Loki smiled at her and said "Because that's what friends do. They protect each other no matter what happens right. And we are friends right?"

Darkness looked shocked at first by his answer and after a second her face turned a bright red. Then she showed a little bit of a smile. It was the first time I'd seen her smile this entire time. "Yeah. We're friends" Darkness said then.

"Then stay by my side and I'll make sure your okay" Loki smiled.

"You looooooove her don't you?" I teased.

Loki blushed though and chased after me then saying "It's not like that don't go getting crazy ideas like that in your head!"

Darkness laughed then though.

"Wow. You have a beautiful laugh" Loki said then.

"You really think so?" Darkness asked then blushing.

"Yeah. It's the most pretty sound in the world" Loki said.

Then Darkness's entire face turned as red as an apple.

"Well if you love her so much why don't you marry her" I teased.

"It's not like that hothead" Loki said then.

"Huh. How dare you. If I'm a hothead that makes you an icicle" I said back.

"At least I'm a cute one though" Loki said.

"That's it" I told him. Then we ended up getting into a cat fight with each other.

"How touching. However, you should know that love between you and Loki would never happen Darkness. You one with the night and Loki's one with the light" Christa said then.

"Mom? I'm so sorry I didn't mean to" Darkness said.

Then Loki and me stepped in front of Darkness.

"If you want her you'll have to go through us. The Dragonchilds" we said together then.

"You can try but you won't succeed kid" Christa said.

I saw Darkness lose her battle and then I walked closer to dad.

"Dad, can I go down to the competition. I want to see if a friend of mine is okay" I asked.

"Okay. I've got something I want to do as well. Somehow this competition seems a little different than last time" Dad said.

"Just be careful" I whispered.
