Astro and Wonderman Book 4: Awakening Magic

She didn't mean teleporte to me!

(Darkness point of view)

I was flying really fast hoping to get to Astro's class in time. I only had a few minutes left to get there but I was pretty close to Astro's place.

Then I remembered my reason for going and flew faster than I ever had before. It didn't take long for me to get there and when I did I stopped to catch my breath. Then I sat down not realizing I was still transformed.

Then Astro walked out with glasses on and said "Alright class we have a new student with us. Her name is Darkness. Darkness please introduce yourself to the class"

"Wait, Darkness as in my Darkness" Loki said trying his best to hide the fact that he was blushing.

"Awe. It's like Romeo and Juliet" Pixie said.

"It's not like that brickhead" Loki said.

"Sure it is hothead" Pixie teased.

"Welcome to class. We're glad to have you" Jess smiled at me.

"Yeah. Besides, you might make things more interesting for once" Lex said.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Astro said then.

"No offense mom but Dad has the awesome fire that we can watch and admire" Lex teased.

"How is that teaching you anything though?" Astro asked.

"Welcome to class Darkness. It's nice to have you here" Plete said.

"That's my line buddy" Loki said then.

"Don't go getting the wrong idea Loki. I don't like her" Plete said.

"That's not what I meant!" Loki said blushing.

"The look on your face just now. Priceless" Pixie laughed.

"It's not like I like her or anything" Loki said with an irritated look on his face.

I got in between Loki and Pixie though and said "Guys it's class time. So this is no time to be arguing"

"Well only because it's you asking" Loki said.

"Only because your my friend" Pixie said.

"I call class into season. Now as always we will start with role call" Astro said then.

"Objection professor Astro but there's only 6 of us and 5 of us are your kids so what's the need for role call" Pixie said then.

Astro gave us all her really scary face then. I hid behind Loki then. "This is my class. It will go by my roles. Got that" Astro said then.

Then we all nodded because we all had seen Astro in action and knew she was scary when she got angry. She called roll and then started the lesson.

"Now for today's lesson we will talk about the magic of stars. Now can anybody tell me how the stars first arrived on the planet?" I asked.

"Weren't they always there?" I asked.

"Seems that way doesn't it? But no they weren't always there. Our story begins with the goddess of life and the God of death. You see in the beginning they were deeply in love with each other and Vanth, the God of death, with the help of Sarah, the goddess of life, created the stars just for her" I said.

"But if one of them has the power of life and the other hand the power of death how did they get along?" I asked.

"That's because light and dark need each other to exist. After all of you had a world full of good people Darkness wouldn't be able to exist and vise versa"

"Oh. I didn't think of that" I said.

"Yes. Now to use star magic imagine your in the sky and your at the center of the sky. Now imagine a circle of light surrounding the sky and as it does new dots appear in the sky" Astro said.

We all did just that.

"And now comes the important part concentrate on your magic energy" Astro instructed.

Then we all formed a small blue circle with small blue stars surrounding the circle.

"I did it!" I said.

"That's just the start of a long journey though. After all Sarah liked a good mystery and she loved adventures. So Vanth made it a mystery and adventure for figuring out how to use the magic of stars. In fact not even the greatest fairies with Star magic could figure out the complete puzzle of star magic" Astro said.

"Wow. That's so cool" Lex said.

"Looks like I won them over Dragon boy" Astro giggled then. Then she looked at the sky as if someone were there.

"So what's the next step in star magic?" Darkness asked.

"Well the next step is to master teleporting. You just have to imagine where you want to be and then you'll teleport there" Astro said.

I then imagined me beside Loki and then all of a sudden I was next to Loki holding his hand.

"She didn't mean teleport to me!" Loki said his face blushing a bright red.

Pixie started laughing so hard she was crying a little.

"Um.....I guess my imagination got a little carried away" I said blushing a bright red.

"Not that close to Loki" Astro said giving me her scary face.

"Yes, professor Astro" I said then and then I walked away from Loki but we we're still close to each other.

"And that ends class for today. Now Who wants snacks" Astro said.

"We do" everyone said.

I remembered how we laughed that day and we all spent the day together. It was one of my favorite days. But before I knew it stormy weather was ahead.
