Astro and Wonderman Book 4: Awakening Magic

We have a mission for you

(Astro's point of view)

We followed Valentine to a castle.

"Wow. This castle is beautiful. It's a shame no one uses it" I said.

"That's about to change sooner than you think but first we have a mission for you" Valentine said.

"What kind of mission? And what do you mean that no one using the castle is going to change soon?" I asked.

Then Sillica appeared and said "Don't worry. You'll understand what we mean soon enough. The mission we need you to do is to find the queen of life's scepter. If you can do that then we can awaken the true goddess of life powers within. However, we must keep our timing in mind. After all, doing so will awaken Vanth's power. The queen goddess is the only one who knows how to fix our time gap and stuff similar to that. We need her in order to reset the world. Only those pure of heart may enter. This is because where your going for this mission you may not return to the earth world. This world is unpredictable. No one that has flew to that world had come back out alive"

"So what about the castle then" I asked.

"It's your castle. And it will be your kingdom but we also need the queen to help train your powers some before you become queen" Vapor spoke.

"How come?" I asked.

"Because she can fix your powers to where they can only be used for good. If that's what you want that is. Right now though your powers are trying to combine into one. Which isn't good because 2/3 big amounts of power you have is the dark arts" Harmony said.

"What do you mean 3? I have my Goddess powers and my dark dragon magic" I said.

"We mean three because Vanth in a way is your father" Allie explained.

I gasped surprisingly. "What do you mean in a way he's my father?" I asked then.

"Because Vanth's true form lies within Johnny. Sarafina and Vanth's souls passed into the Celestial world because of a spell they knew how to use. So they were reincarnated. And now they walk among us. However, the power within lies dormant. This is because Sarafina could see into the future. She knew this would happen. So she made it to where only the chosen one could touch it. The chosen one is you" Allie added.

"Also, if Vanth and Sarafina's powers combine as one within if your not strong enough to fight the darkness then you could be another Christalline story"

"Strong enough to fight the darkness" I asked.

"Or rather the emotions of darkness. Grief for example." Valentine said.

"Then we might want to awaken Sarafina's powers. I've been there. To the void of dark magic. I almost completely fell into the void. Wonderman saved me just in time though" I said.

"Yes. Well that's your mission. We also called you in here for a mission for us. You want us to help protect your family when you can't right?" Valentine said.

"If you don't mind" I said.

"I'll protect Darkness and Loki" Valentine said.

"I'll protect Jess" Sillica said.

"I'll protect Pixie and Lex" Vapor said.

"And I'll protect Plete" Harmony said.

"I guess that leaves me with Wonderman then. I don't mind though" Allie said.

"Alright, then your official assignment from me is to protect the kids and Wonderman when I'm not able to" I said.

"Okay. First we need to spend some time with each of our chosen ones. It'll create a magic bond between us so that we'll know when they are in trouble and need us" Valentine said.

(Astro's point of view)

It's been a couple of months since the competition. We had to redo it but something else had come up to stop the competition. I even got to work together with some of my fellow Dragonchilds. I'm also happy to say that a once broken family is complete again. For now anyway. I sense that a new kid might be on the way. The spirits have a really strong bond with each of there chosen ones to protect. I'm glad about that. As for me and Wonderman we were still together. However, if I'm being honest with myself I've been a little distant. After spending so much time with Wonderman I always go to the library. It's not a complete excuse though because I need to search for a way to get to the island Valentine spoke of. So far I haven't found anything yet. I really hope I can find the answer soon. I feel my powers growing more and more every day. I haven't been myself lately though. I sense I'm getting more and more distant each day. Slowly I'm falling to a place in my heart and mind where Wonderman couldn't reach me at all. I was also starting to feel a longing for the dark side. Mostly I just ignore it but there are times where I just can't ignore it. I hear Dark Knight sometimes in my mind trying to convince me to turn evil as well. If that wasn't enough lately every night I've had the same nightmare.

It always starts out peacefully. Me and Wonderman are walking along a beach but then the scene changed to a girl looking half like a dragon and half like a person using magic on Wonderman. It was strange but it wasn't the girl that bothered me most. It was Wonderman's face. He always looked so shocked and hurt at the same time. I would always wake up then. Some nights I'd let myself cry while others I would just fly for a bit outside in the fresh cool air of the night.

I may sound strong to you handling all of this but all it would take was losing one specific person in my life for it all to fall apart. I wasn't as strong as people gave me credit for.

However, the good news is that I got accepted into the ancients. We now have a home in ancient city. We still go to the town with mine and Wonderman's memories but not as much as we used to because it was a little bit away from where we lived now. Me and Wonderman also switched schools along with Starlight and Caleb. Rosie stayed at the school but she said she was really happy for me.

So we are here starting a new chapter in our lives in ancient city.
