Astro and Wonderman Book 4: Awakening Magic

I'm just tired. You don't mind do you?

(Astro's point of view)

It was early in the morning when I woke up. Everyone was asleep so I decided to go get some breakfast for them. I was trying to picture it. Going on vacation with everyone. I was happy to be going on vacation with them though.

I couldn't help but think of everything that has happened in almost there years from knowing Wonderman. I began to wonder if it was really that long because it only felt like 1. I smiled today though because of everything I had with me.

Once I finished making breakfast we all day down and are as a family and then the kids started packing there things for the vacation.

I kissed Wonderman before going to hang out with Yuval for a little bit.

A couple of hours felt like 30 minutes though. Yuval did have a way of making time seem to go faster.

Then we came back home. Starlight, Caleb, and Rosalie had come by to visit. It was then that Starlight told me she was having a kid.

I was so happy and excited for her. Her and Caleb planned to get married before the next year started. Darkness was happy about having a sister. Darkness asked if she could come along but honestly I had gotten so used to her being around it would feel weird to go on vacation without her. I told her to ask her parents though. They said she could though and of course she was happy about that.

I also noticed Yuval was seeming to talk to Rosalie a lot. That made me feel a little relieved. Honestly, I was worried about him because I knew if he made one wrong move he'd have the scariest dragon coming after him.

"Hey mom can we take Sabella with us?" Plete asked.

"Of course. She is part of the Dragonchild family after all" I said.

"Yay! I'm so excited! I can't wait to see some other place I haven't seen before yet" Sabella said.

"Me either" Plete said.

"Maybe we can go swimming some" Lex said.

"I know Loki would loooooove that" Pixie teased.

"I have no idea what your talking about" Loki said blushing a bright red.

"I'd love to go somewhere with some new plants. That way I can learn about some more plants" Jessie said.

"Well I'm just happy to be anywhere Loki is" Darkness smiled at Loki.

"Yeah......the weather is really nice isn't it?" Loki asked.

"If you want to kiss the girl what are you waiting for. She's right there" Pixie teased.

"What do you........Darkness what are you doing?" Loki started to say. He stopped when Darkness rested her head on Loki's chest.

"I'm just tired. You don't mind do you" Darkness asked.

"It's fine with me. I was just a bit surprised is all" Loki said blushing and looking off in the distance.

Then Darkness rested her head on Loki's shoulder some more.

"Awe. Isn't that the cutest thing ever" Pixie smiled.

"I'll pay you back in full as soon as we get to where we're going" Loki said.

Then everyone got into the car and we started heading towards our destination.

We drove for a really long time. Eventually I got tired and rested my head on Darkness's head that was now on my shoulder.

I could hear Pixie laughing about something in the back seat of the car but I decided to ignore her for now. After all she knew I would get her back soon enough.

Plete started reading one of his books as we we're driving along and Jessie was reading a book that Plete gave her to read to pass the time. Lex was looking excitedly at everything outside with Sabella.

Once we finally got to where we were going we went to sleep because we were exhausted from the long car ride.

"They are beautiful aren't they?" Astro cried as she helped carry us to bed.

"They are a miracle" Wonderman agreed.

"Yeah. I love you. I don't know what I'd do without you" Astro smiled at him.

Then Wonderman took Astro's hand and they danced for a little of and then talked with each other and eventually went to sleep too.

I'll never forget that day. It's a day that I will always hold dear to my heart because I'll always remember how we all smiled and we're together that day.
