''Hey... how are you?''
I slid down beside Ashton in the couch who was situated along the wall in a somewhat dull room. The walls were painted in a shade of dark purple and there was only a couch, a table and some lightchains that lit the room up, inside there.
''If it wasn't for you, I don't know what would have happened.'' Ashton said, rubbing the back of his neck as he gave me a nervous smile.
Ashton and his gang had gone to a club a couple of blocks away from the parking building just to hang out and have some fun on their own. He needed to get away from the hysteria at the race and just relax with his friends. That Luke guy and his little mafia were idiots. They didn't even deserve to be around a guy as great as Ashton., he was way to good for them.
I slowly started to stroke his leg and patted him lightly on the chest as I leaned down on his shoulder.
''You'll always be my number one, I love you. Don't you ever forget that.'' I said with a smile.
Ashton and I had a really rare relationship. We would never see oneanother as more than friends, but we would always protect the other one, no matter what. He was my best friend, a brother. And we loved eachother as that, but not more.
The people in Ashtons 'circle of friends' were pretty awesome. They all had taken care of me since the first minute I met them tonight, and they all saw me as a friend too.
''Hey! Come on now, let's dance!'' a little girl with a big read hair said.
The whole gang got up from the sofas and wherever they sat to gather on the dancefloor.
Though this club was pretty small, it was crammed with people. Everywhere you could see girls and boys dancing, grinding on eachother, people who was making out and those who just hung around.''Umh guys I'm coming soon. I'm just going to the toilet.'' I said as I slipped away, out of the crowd of dancing people.
I made my way to the toilet, and dabbed my cheeks with a little water. I watched my reflection stare back at me in the mirror and started to re-do my makeup a little bit.
It had been a long night, and it wasn't over yet. So I smeared on some pink lip gloss, took on a little more foundation and fixed the strands of hair that were in the wrong place. When I felt done I went out on the dancefloor again, ready to party. But as soon as I entered the crowded room, something felt wrong.
I pushed my way through the big crowd, in my attempt to find Ashton. But he wasn't anywhere to be seen.
''Ashton?'' I shouted in my endeavour to be louder than the music.
I turned around, flicking my gaze back and forth at the people dancing. I couldn't see him.
I jumped out of the massive crowd, and went out on the balcony searching for my friend. The balcony was empty as the desert. It was just the sound of the traffic that was heard from far down under. Whilst I now was out there, I could just take a moment to breath in the fresh air.
The view from up there was beautiful, I stated as I leaned over the balcony railing.
The short red silk dress I was wearing, was a pretty warm garment. I mentally slapped myself for taking my high heels, and not my converse. My feet ached so bad at this time, as long as I had been strutting around.''Something's wrong?'' a dark voice asked and dragged me out of my daze.
I turned around to be met by a couple of dark brown eyes. The guy was wearing a dark blue jacket and black tight jeans. His sunglasses were hooked at the edge of his jacket and his dark hair was styled perfectly in a messy and kind of attractive way.
As I got a little flashback from where I had seen him earlier I remembered him. But I couldn't figure out his name.''Who..? What do you want?'' I quickly snapped as I remembered he was a member of one of the most feared mafias in Australia.
He let out a low chuckle as he just mumbled to himself.
''He was right, this is a though one.''
''Excuse me?'' I simply said as I tried to walk past him, but he blocked the balcony door.
I looked up at him, with a confused look, but stood my ground and started to punch him the slightest in the stomach.
''Move?!'' I shouted as I threw a hard punch with my fist held tight.
He started to chuckle as my fist just bounced back. 'Wow' I thought to myself.
This guy had abs made of iron.He took a strong grip around my arms as he spun me around so that my back was pressed up against his chest.
''What the..?'' I stated as I started to twitch to get out of his grip.
''Don't make this too hard for me sweetie.'' he said as he sterned his grip around me.
He cleared his throat the slightest as another guy showed up behind him.
''Calum. We have cleared the back way, come on now.'' a manly voice said.
Calum turned me around and I faced the guy who was standing there.
It was the punk rock looking guy, with the dirty blonde hair. He simply just stared at me with an angry expression and smirked at me.
''If you touch me, I'm going to scream.'' I warned as Michael came closer.
I could feel my heart starting to pound faster in my chest as he leaned in next to my ear.''Test me..'' he growled low as he leaned back and stuck out his hand in front of my face.
All I could see thereafter was how he grinned and blew a white powder at me.Then everything went black.
