"You got a week off?" I turned seeing Levi walking towards me.

"Yup, Erwin gave me the week as an early birthday gift." I said smiling, attaching my bag to (H/n)'s saddle.

"So you're not coming on the expedition.." He mumbled.

"Yup, don't go dying on me out there." I said and he scoffed and walked away.

"See you later." he said and joined the rest of the Corps who were going over the strategy once again.

"Levi." I called out, and he stopped in his tracks, turning to me.

"What?" he asked. I walked over to him and kissed his cheek.

"Come back safe." I told him.

"Of course stupid." he said and left to join the meeting.

I went back to (H/n) and he neighed, nuzzling my cheek. "Alright, let's get going." I mumbled, climbing up to sit on the saddle.

I was wearing my uniform but without my straps, gear, and jacket. I made my way down to Wall Maria and down into Shiganshina.

"Here we are.." I stopped (H/n) when I saw my house. I hopped off and landed easily on the ground, and walked the rest of the way. I tied (H/n) to a nearby post and walked up the steps to my house and knocked.

"I got it!!" I heard a little boys voice and the door opened. I looked down and saw my kid brother staring up at me.

"Hey, squirt. Remember me?" I smiled at him. He said nothing but jumped into my arms, hugging me tightly. I lifted him up as he wrapped his arms around my neck tightly.

"I missed you.." I heard him sniffling.

"I missed you too crybaby." I whispered hugging him tightly.

I walked into the house, closing the door behind me with my foot. "Eren, who is it?" I heard moms voice from upstairs.

"It's (Y/n)!!" he yelled and I placed Eren back on the ground as I heard hurried steps and mom came down the stairs and stopped seeing me. She then pulled me into a tight hug.

"You idiot! Running away from home, joining the Survey Corps!" She began lecturing me, then she looked over me, as if to check if I was injured in any way. "Welcome home.." she smiled at me.

"Sorry mom, I'm home.." I smiled at her.

"Now now Carla, the important thing is that she's alive." I turned and saw dad standing at the door.

"Hey dad." I said and he ruffled my hair. "Welcome home." he told me.

"Mikasa! Come down!!" I heard Eren's voice.

"Eren?" I saw a small asian girl with shoulder length black hair come down.

"Oh..." she looked up at me. "Hello.." she spoke to me.

"Hi, your name is Mikasa?" I asked and she nodded.

I crouched down to her height. "That's a beautiful scarf. Did Eren give it to you?" I asked and she nodded, holding it tightly. "Take care of that. Also, can you watch over Eren for me? I know you can keep him out of trouble." I asked and she looked at Eren, then up at me and nodded.
