Levi x reader

Sleep

I rode next to Levi as we made our ways to the old Corps HQ. I glanced behind me to see Auroo talking with Eren. "You'll bite your tongue like that." I warned him and next thing you know, he bit his tongue.

Arriving at HQ, I led (H/n) to the stalls. Petra, Auroo and Eren were already there. "Eren, can you brush down (H/n)?" I asked giving him the reins.

"S-sure." he said and brushed my horse. I brought over two buckets of water for the horses, but I noticed Eren kept looking at Petra and Auroo. "Hey, sis?" Eren asked me.

"Yeah?" I looked at him.

"Are you also in charge of watching over me?" he asked, not meeting my eye. I knew what he wanted to ask me, if I was also someone who was going to kill him if he got out of control.

"Come here." I wrapped an arm around his shoulder, petting his head. "You've grown so big." I thought. "Everything'll be fine. Don't worry. We're also here to protect you." I smiled at him.

"Thanks." he smiled shyly. 

"Stay out of trouble." I told him before leaving to start.. cleaning duties.

I was cleaning the steps in front of the building when I heard the door open behind me. I turned seeing it was Levi in his usual cleaning garments. "(Y/n), come here." was all he said and went back inside. I followed him up the wooden stairs, and we stopped in front of one of the rooms. "This room will be yours." Levi said, opening the door and I saw it was already cleaned.

"You cleaned my room for me? That's sweet." I smiled at him. "It's a pretty big one too." I said, falling back into the bed. I glanced at Levi and he was just looking at me. I smiled, "Hey, come here." I said making a grabbing motion with my hands. He walked over, holding my hand, and pulling me into a sitting position. I smiled and pulled him down to my level, and also pulling down the cloth covering his mouth. I gave him a quick peck, which he then furthered into a kiss. We didn't leave my room until it was getting dark.

During dinner, I sat next to Levi and I ate silently as everyone chatted amongst themselves. I stood up to gather everyone's finished plates getting thanked by them, and put them in the sink. I noticed Levi make a small motion with his hands and I sighed, "Does anyone else want tea?" I asked and they all said yes, so I started brewing tea.

I came back with 2 trays of tea, and passed it out to everyone and gave Levi his cup last. I sat in my chair and tried to get a grasp on the awkward atmosphere. "Alright, stop staring at my brother." I said since Eren sat beside me and the stares were plainly obvious.

"Sorry, it's still hard to believe, how does this changing into a titan thing work anyway, Eren?" Eld asked him.

"My memories of it aren't clear, it's like being in a trance. It's set off by inflicting self harm though." Eren attempted to explain.

"You guys can't ask him for more info when we already have all this in the reports." I said sipping my tea.

The door rattled and I stood to let in whoever it was. "Hanji, you're early." Levi said drinking his tea.

"Levi! What's Eren's plans for tomorrow?" Hanji immediately asked.

"Cleaning the garden." Levi answered.

"Alright then! Eren, I look forward to tomorrow." Hanji said holding Eren's hand. 

"I'll clean the garden." I told Levi who just tsk'ed and looked away.

"But what kind of Titan experiments are we talking about here?" Eren asked. 

"Oh no." I sighed as everyone else had a similar expression on their face.

"Sorry, what was that?" Hanji asked.

"Hey, stop! Don't ask that!" Auroo stopped Eren from repeating his question.

"Well, time for bed." I said standing and everyone stood up as well. I glanced at Eren and mouthed "I'm sorry" before leaving.

I stopped in front of my room and yawned. "Goodnight Levi. If you can't sleep, come over." I said and he just waved his hand and walked away to his room, which was a few feet down the hall. 

I knew he wouldn't come over if he couldn't sleep, and so I changed clothes, grabbed my clothes for tomorrow, and made my way to Levi's. I didn't bother knocking since I'm the only person who'd walk in without knocking. Levi was just laid out in his bed, his curtains weren't closed so moonlight illuminated the room. 

"Why are you here?" he asked me.

"Cause I know you can't sleep." I smiled, laying out my clothes on the side, then made my way to the bed.

"mm.." He moved over and I took my boots off and crawled in next to him.

"You're warm." I mumbled, wrapping my arms around him, while he lay his head on my chest, and I combed my fingers through his hair. He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me flush against his body. "Sweet dreams, Captain." I spoke through a yawn and eventually fell asleep myself.

The next morning, I was woken up by someone shaking me. I opened my eyes and saw Levi hovering above me. "What?" I asked, rubbing my eyes.

"Grab your jacket. Someone killed Hanji's pets." He said and I nodded, climbing out of bed, grateful that I brought my jacket and boots with me. I pulled on my jacket and boots and ran downstairs and saw the horses ready for us. I quickly jumped onto (H/n) and we rushed towards the city.

I joined everyone in the crowd, and pulled my cloak on with my hood down and stood beside Levi. After a bit of Hanji's screaming, Levi told us we were leaving. I followed after him and saw Erwin go up to Eren. Levi and I waited for Eren to join us.

"Hanji is going to be mourning for a while." I muttered and Levi agreed.

"Who do you think did it?" He asked me.

"Honestly? I don't know. But it had to be a soldier." I shrugged, looking at the two bodies.

The ride back was silent, and I realized, today was the day the new recruits pick out with organization they wanted to join.  "Wonder how much recruits we'll get.." I thought knowing it won't be much.

"You're guarding your brother tomorrow." Levi said to me.

"My turn already? Alright." I said and we continued in silence.
