Plagg's POV

"Hello, class, it's so nice to see you again!" I heard a kind voice chirp. Everyone quieted down, bless my sensitive cat ears, and I peered over the edge of the binder.

A pretty redhead teacher with baby blue eyes and a clipboard walked in the classroom and smiled. The cheerful woman's eyes landed on Adrien and her lips curved upwards. "I see we have a new student. What's your name, honey?" she asked.

Adrien stiffened, and I remembered him telling me that his father was a world famous fashion designer, which in my opinion is kinda girly for a guy to choose as a career.

"Uh, Adrien. Adrien Agreste," he stammered out his last name hesitatingly.

As soon as Adrien whimpered out his last name, quiet squeals erupted out of a few girls mouths, and he winced. I rolled my eyes.

Girls.

I spotted Marinette's mouth fall open and her friend Alya show her undoubtedly pictures of Adrien on the internet on her phone. Marinette snatched it and scrolled through the pictures disbelievingly.

"Adrien Agreste?" the teacher repeated. "As in the son of Gabriel Agreste? The world famous fashion designer?" The teacher looked upon my holder in shocked awe.

Adrien clenched his jaw and muttered through gritted teeth, "That's me."

Chloè butted in the conversation. "And I am Adriekins best friend. My daddy knew Mr. Agreste even before he became famous. Adrien and I have been friends since we were toddlers and now we're practically in love! We're going to start dating soon," Chloè winked at a certain blond in front of her.

I could practically feel Adrien's life almost ending in embarrassment as there were snickers from all around the room. I didn't even try to muffle my own.

Suddenly, I stopped. I felt as if everything stopped, if it wasn't for the beating of my heart.

Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump.

I slowly set down the Camembert cheese that I was holding in my tiny paws. What was that?

"That's enough class," the teacher scolded gently. She glanced over at Adrien and I swear I saw a flash of sympathy in her eyes.

The students settled down and I saw Kim throw a look of envy and Adrien. "Well, my name's Ms. Bustier, and I hope you have a wonderful school year Adrien!" Ms. Bustier threw a small smile at Adrien.

"Now, I'm going to take attendance, so everyone notify me that your here..." Ms. Bustier's voice droned on as I tuned her out.

I opened the zipper of Adrien's binder and poked my head out. A reckless move, yes, but it was necessary if I could was about to find out what had happened to me.

I unhinged my jaw and let the scents around me flow into my mouth, and my taste buds on my tongue deciphered them.

Zit cream, perfume, Camembert...

I floated over to the piece of cheese that I'd stashed away on the floor of Adrien's binder and shoved it down my throat greedily.

At least that would get rid of the Camembert "stench" that Adrien was complaining about.

I poked my head out once again and tasted the air around me. Same results. So much for getting rid of the Camembert smell.

Sigh.

Suddenly, I felt my whiskers tingle. Everything about me became alert. My heart quickened, my eyes widened, my tail stiffened, my ears pricked up, you name it.

Akuma. Rage. Hurt. Rejection. Sadness. Revenge on Chloè.

Dozens of emotions tumbled into my mouth when I opened my jaw. I flicked my ears upwards and I heard something pound against the floor, as if someone was rhythmically jumping up and down next to Adrien.

Yeah. My hearing is just that sharp.

Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump.

It sounded as if stones were being dragged across the floor. I almost choked on my saliva as I came to a realization.

Sweet Mother of Camembert. I cursed in my head.

"Bruel, Ivan." The teacher called out. I felt Stoneheart race across the hall and before you know it, Stoney smashed straight through the wall roaring "PRESENT".

Screams erupted from the children and Ms. Bustier. Stoneheart roared and stormed over to the person in the seat that was in the left second row that was sitting next to Alex.

"MYLÈNE," Stoneheart bellowed. Stoneheart snatched up the said person and the students around her scurried away from her.

Like an idiot, Adrien stood there, gawking at the size of the villain and that Mylène wasn't having a heart attack about her being in the evil clutches of her soon-to-be-future-boyfriend.

"Adrien, look out!" Marinette exclaimed. Just Adrien looked up to see Stoneheart's ginormous foot about to squash him, Marinette shot forward and grabbed Adrien's hand, effectively saving his life and him being a pancake.

Marinette looked down at her and Adrien holding hands and blushed. "Thanks," Adrien said in oblivious gratitude.

Marinette's blush faded and she let go of his hand. "This doesn't change how I feel about you," she hissed and ran towards Alya, who had whipped out her phone and was efficiently recording Stoneheart and Mylène.

"Let's get outta here!" Kim and I squealed in perfect sync. Adrien threw a fleeting glance at Stoneheart, who was currently clutching Chloè in his stone hands while the female squealed in outrage, and dashed out of the classroom.

Adrien ran to the boys locker room, which was vacant.

Obviously.

"My first day of school and I don't even make it past roll call," Adrien whined as soon as I flew out of his binder.

I smirked and levitated so Adrien was beneath me. I crossed my paws underneath my very similar bobble-like cat head and crossed my feet so I was in the relaxation pose. "A day off," I purred in amusement. "Now that's what I'm talkin' about!"

Adrien rolled his eyes and smirked deviously. "Oh, no, sorry Plagg, but we got homework to do!" My holder thrust out his Miraculous and the said object glowed white.

"Plagg, CLAWS OUT!" he yelled. The Black Cat Miraculous glowed white, then black. The stones power began to suck me in, tail first.

"No, wait, Adrien, transforming isn't exactly homewo- aaaaaahhhhh!" My protest was cut off with a wail as Adrien transformed into Cat Noir, the black-clad superhero of the night.

Joy.
