I woke up the next day like a brand new person. My mom says that you have to wake brand new. Start the day fresh. I am going to do what my mom said literally. I am going to change my name. That's right, bitches, changing my identitiy time!
Emmaline Maxwell, here i come!
i went wearing my new neon blue skater's skirt and my new purple top together along with my black converse sneakers. I am wearing casual so i can get a good impression of myself but tommorow i'll show my nerdy side.
"Skylar! Come down for breakfast!" my mom shouted from downstairs. I took my blue canvas bag and went downstairs to eat.
"Woah, Sky, what the heck? Glasses?" Alexis asked, pouring milk into her cup. I rolled my eyes at her. Whatever. She doesn't need to know about my plan. I saw my mom making pancakes in the kitchen. Weird, i thought. Mom only makes pancakes during the weekend. She adds chocolate chip and strawberries. I decided not to eat my pancakes because first, I lost my appetite and second, I can't be late for school.
"Skylar, i told the school about the name-changing plan," my mom said.
"Great!" I said.
"Aren't you gonna eat pancakes?" my mom asked.
"Nah, I am not that hungry," i said.
"Okay then, have a good first day!" My mom shouts as i waved goodbye and i walked out of the house. I walked to school and hum along a song i heard on Youtube. I closed my eyes and pretended i had a perfect life. Yes, i did had a perfect life. I mean, i used to.
I pretended i was a princess, living in a castle. I had servants, bodyguards and i went to royalty school. Aish, how i wish it was real.
As i was daydreaming, i didn't see anyone. I dashed across the road and i almost got hit by a car. "I am SO sorry!" I shouted to the driver. I thought, how embarrasing! I saw kids walking to school and they must have saw what happened. I fell down to the ground when the driver almost hit me as i was scared. I squat down, covering my ears. So embarassing!
As i struggle to get up, a boy came running to me. "You okay?" he asked. He reached out his hand and he helped me get up. i nodded my head.
"Yeah, i am fine," i said. I looked at the boy and i realised he's a hunk. He's so HOT! I had one question in my mind : Is he Taken?! He looks like Troy Bolton from High School Musical. So awesome!
"Ermm, who are you?" he asked. Right, i was too busy staring at him i forgot to introduce myself. Emmaline Maxwell. I am Emmaline Maxwell, I said inside my heart. Not Skylar Watson.
"I am Emmaline Maxwell," i said.
"Nice name, i am Austin Parkerson,"
he said. Boy, is he hot!!!
