Elsa's POV
The dungeons were cold and poorly lit ,by torches here and there. Harold, Ronald, and I walked in silence, the only noise coming from the echo's of our footsteps. When Harold and Ronald stopped I almost didn't notice. "You stay here for a moment," Harold said turning around to face me. I nodded my head once in agreement, before Harold and Ronald walked into the cell ahead of us. I was standing to far back to see, but could easily hear what they were saying. "What the hell do you want?" Hans said, his voice filled with hate as he practically spat the words out.
"You have a visitor," Ronald said.
"Tell them to go away," Hans replied, the same tone of voice used.
"They won't," Harold said smugly.
"Then make them leave!" Hans yelled.
"No." Harold replied once more. Hans' yell of anger was almost enough to send me running back to safety. He sounded like he was out for blood. The sound of chains rattling in the denial of moving further.
"Look Hansel's burning again," Ronald laughed mockingly.
"You're going to burn in hell!" Hans yelled at his brothers before they excited his cell, entering the hall where I stood rooted to the spot.
"You may go in and see him now," Harold said. I hesitated for only a moment, before I walked into Hans' cell.

Hans' appearance makes me gasp slightly. His hair has grown long and unruly, his sideburns have become more a beard now, his clothes hang loose on his body, his lip is split and his face is sprinkled in bruises. "Queen Elsa," he practically gasps as he bows. "Please listen, I am dreadfully sorry for what I have done to you, Anna, and all of Arendelle. If you would forgive me, I would be honored."
"Hans, apologizing isn't going to fix what you did."
"Then give me a second chance. Please. I want to fix what I've done. Please Queen Elsa."
I stood there staring at him. How could he expect me to sympathy him when he almost murderedme? What even makes him think he deserves a second chance?
"What makes you think you deserve a second chance? That I should sympathize you and show compassion when you nearly murdered me?"
"I don't deserve a second chance, after what I did, I deserve to rot here. But I know you are capable of compassion and sympathy, and I would be honored if that compassion was given to me in the form of another chance. I want to right what I have wronged. Please Queen Elsa, don't be as cold as I feared you would be, please show compassion."
I sighed before saying, "I'll think about it."

"So how did your meeting with Hans go?" Maurice asked me.
"Fine." I replied starting down at the table I was seated at.
"Is there anything you'd like to discuss?"
"He asked me to give him a second chance."
Maurice gave me a look to continue on.
"If it would be alright with you, I would like to take him back to Arendelle with me," I said looking up to meet Maurice's gaze, keeping a look of determination on my face.
"Are you sure that's wise?"
"I feel like it's the right thing to do. And if Hans is able to convince me forgive him, I shall forgive your kingdom and family, and try to clean your current reputation. If Hans doesn't, I will still continue the trading between our kingdoms."
"Alright. If you wish to depart back to Arendelle early, since our discussion of trading only lasted two days, you may depart tomorrow."
Returnhome? ImissArendellesomuch.
"I would like to, thank you. Your gracious hospitality has been appreciated." After that I departed to my room.

"Queen Elsa, your, I mean our ship will be departing in an hour," Hans said nervously from outside the door. They already let him out of his cell?
"Oh thank you for letting me know," I said as I got up and dressed. I put on my ice dress and fashioned my hair in a French braid. I closed my trunks and picking them up, before I left the room. Hans was sitting next to the door, on a trunk which seemed to be all he had with him. He was dressed in navy blue pants and matching jacket. The vest he wore under his jacket was light green. He had shaven back to having sideburns, but his hair was still long, and had more bruises. I now noticed he was wearing white gloves. No one else in his family ever wore gloves inside. Shoving that thought out of my mind before speaking, "You could have gone down to breakfast without me. I know how to get there." I set my trunks down on the other side of the door.
"I already ate. If you want to go down to breakfast, you may. When we have to leave, I will come and inform you," Hans said, remaining seated on his trunk.
"Alright. Thank you for waking me," I said before starting to walk in the direction of the dining hall.
"Wait," Hans called suddenly.
"Yes?"
"Thank you for giving me a second chance. I'll make sure you won't regret it."
I nod at him before walking towards the dining room.

I slowly and carefully cut Hans' hair. The gentle roll of the ship made it slightly more difficult, but not unmanageable. Hans sat still, which did make it easier. I was just finishing touching up, cutting pieces that were too long, trying my best to make it look even. "Done. I hope it's a good length, I tried not to make it too short, but I might have. I mean I tried to go off my memory of what your hair looked like back during my coronation and," I started rambling before Hans cut me off.
"It looks great. Thank you."
"Well, I'm going to go to my bunk now. Goodnight Prince Hans."
"Goodnight Queen Elsa."
