I wish I could have heard you say it. And I shall always regret that.
You told me you loved me. You told me you would wait for me. You told me to be happy.
But how could I be happy? I lost you. The one thing I needed like oxygen to live, and I lost you.
I couldn't wait to see you again.
I cried and promised we'd be together again soon. I promised to paint the water in crimson for you. But before I could finish that vow, they had stopped me.
They busted into the room, tears streaking down their cheeks as they told me not to leave them. But I wanted to. I had to for you.
I missed you. I love you.
You were my everything.
Forever.
