End of the world

Last week in my philosophy class, the teacher got real deep and told us about his view of the world, about how the world was in decay.

At first, I was skeptical but then he explained how people feared one another (enough to carry guns with them all the time), how political extremism was rising with Trump, Marine Le Pen, and XI Jinping and Poutine who are now in total control of their country.

We are near our capacity of enduring capitalism, so naturally, we seek something else, and that something else is socialism\communism. But then when communism won't work, people will be fed up with either capitalism or communism. Then a new ideology will sprout. People who are afraid and lost will vote for this new ideology ... and history will repeat itself.

At this point, the state of the world can only go worse. With the environment, poverty, concentration of wealth, nuclear weapons, guns...

The thing that struck out from this discussion with my teacher is that you've got to enjoy the present, go outside today, enjoy the sun warming your face, spend time with your friends.

A\N. Omg sorry, this is so heavy guys, I'm usually an optimist but the teacher's réflexion hit me hard and I talked about this subject with my friend too and we came to these conclusions. I promise now all of my rants will be this depressive.
